    hahaha...yes of course, fruedian slip....

Gee if both teams keep going, the contest at the G between the weagles and pies will be a really big measuring board..
    =P~ =P~

Eagles can't beat the pies at the "G". We couldn't even beat them when they were heading for the wooden spoon.
Never felt so threatened at a pub after a game when us 5 eagles supporters walked into the Royal Hotel Richmond (see Facebook) after the pies flogged us at the MCG.
Place was full of drunk toothless pies supporters. Intimidation plus. Raunchy girls everywhere.
We had to buy a drink to show we weren't scared. We threw them back at a rapid pace and got the hell out there. And Collingwood won. !!! Hate to think what would have happened if they'd lost.

Thanks for the facts Paul but my footy tipping is "crapola" this year.
I keep tipping Brisbane at home thinking they must come good eventually.
Even against Essendon when the skipper goes down.
It is like when I watch re runs of the movie Seabiscuit. I always think War Admiral will be improved by the run. But never does !! :-& L-)

Shock horror Eagles only received equal number of free kicks for an away game at 27 each.

Eagles supporters blaming the umpiring for the defeat.

Typical one eyed supporters of any footy team.

Thought it was a really good pressure game. Us weagles had our chances in the first half and didn't take them, and a side as strong on their home ground as we are generally make you pay for that.

54 free kicks in a good hard contest is about 20 too many for my way of thinking. I thought the umpiring was really ordinary....for both sides, and if that is what 4 umpires is going to deliver us, then at this stage i dont think its a good move.

Congrats to all the Bloods supporters...The rest of you losers can continue to sit sniveling in your corner, too scared to take on the best team in the comp ;-)

post bang on the money Rio. So what the Eagles were out played for the first time in ten games. What I do find a bit humorous is how a couple of the posters above liked Funksters post about this thread being filled with haters I wonder if that still applies but the reverse way round now seeing the Eagles have finally lost one

19yrs since the Eagles won at the SCG.To go down by that margin is good sign by them.Good hard fought game I thought on a ground that is as big as my back yard!
Willie might have to go back to the magoos and Lecca can be his date!
    Buddy please!!!!! That was pathetic!

I'm looking at the boys performance as glass half full.
A couple of our boys were under done. Ryan and Shuey for example.
The heat in the first half was as intense as any game this year.
Full credit to Swans defence for holding up under extreme pressure.
There is a lot of upside to West Coast. Bring on the finals.

Agree with Willie, although that ground doesn't give him much space to run at the crumbs, which is his thing. I reckon lickass has another game next week.......fail again and he will be dropped and forgotten..

Those last qtr stats are downright embarrassing for the Gold Coast Suns, it is probably lucky for them they are out of the WA, VIC, SA loop media scrutiny.
In my opinion a Vic club (10 is far too many teams in the one state currently and half of them only survive off the AFL handouts eg NM, StK, Melb, Foots)has to go up there and merge with this mob and a new team from football heartland in TAS to enter the AFL.
