  • Yep tonight showed we shouldn’t have discretionary stands when we have a handicapper that doesn’t understand form. Easter cup race for roses and trotters cup all been discretionary and have all had the best horses completely handicapped out of them

  • I wear one in Trackwork cos the kickback from the horses in front hurts your face, also don’t have to breath in all the dust

  • It wouldn't matter what system is in place. the condition of the race no NR  is open to all pacers, Leap to Fame would be eligible also Minstrel etc, so dumb. Why is it dumb, was an added race put on the end of the program what’s wrong with tryin…

  • As much as i agree and the reason is they were splitting that 30-60 into up to 3 races of full fields each week, now for country stakes no one is interested in such a broad class of race when there’s multiple more suitable country races for the same…

  • Have been saying for a while that all stands should be conditioned and not discretionary as the handicapper seems to miss the mark quite considerably
  • Had a sneak peek at the fields this Friday night at Mildura , and noticed that 1 of the races was called " Get well Soon Wayne Hill pace " Of course top notch SA Reinsman and also drives at most Mildura meetings  The cause - Race 2  on Monday at GD …

  • I'm no subscriber but one thing i do know he bases his views on facts. Hahaha he does not you fool, constantly calls me a drug cheat, no one’s horses get swabbed more than mine and I never have and never will get a positive swab
  • I have no idea what the cost is but the revenue generated on investment is 3.32% for Gloucester Park (and 3.06% at Pinjarra). So if someone "doubles" a $1,000 investment to $2,000 as a result of a twitter interview, the return would be an extra $33.…
  • The revenue received from turnover achieved from X interviews would not pay for the costs. Can you elaborate on how much you think the cost is?
  • Re the pre race on track interviews at GP - i totally agree with Jay Jay , they are just an absolute waste of time And in my opinion which im entitled to , the worst pre race interviewer at GP  by the length of the Randwick straight was Panda simpl…
  • Genuine question, have you seen actual figures showing the increases in turnover or is that just anecdotal from someone you know or are aware of, who increases their bet after confirmation of speed maps? If the twitter interviews increase betting be…
  • Yes, I get that and understand where you are coming from....but the interviews are more than that, they are more than a service for some big punters. They are the "face" of the industry, the public projection of the sport, given the Sports editors p…
  • The parade ring interviews without question increase turnover, the pro punters bet with confidence when speed maps are all but confirmed. Whether they win or lose from there on is irrelevant but if they’re doubling their bet off that info then inter…

  • Conspiracy theorist as per
  • Nothing to see Race 6 Kellerberin  ;;) What was wrong with it?
  • Seems that the stewards did in fact "not hide the information" or "refuse to disclose it in the post meeting report" of last Saturday at Bunbury, if the published stewards report is anything to go by? STG, it is not the first time I have had to look…
  • Hi All If anyone knows any trainers who bought a horse at APG today and is keen for some fresh owners, i want to buy a share in a pacer. Not looking for a huge share, 10% or so depending on price. Even on a passed in lot, if breeder wants to retain…
