Get Round It looks a handy stayer and still a 3 yr old.

falcon, website is being fixed (or rather reverting back to the former site). PR had used a well regarded external consultant to upgrade the website to do amongst other things, identify whether you are accessing it via a traditional computer or appl…

Well before my time Andrew. My point is that I would rather you not rant on this site to me about something that happened well before I was involved in any capacity at PR other than as a member. I don't know the facts or even what it was all about. …

Not sure where he is but having some handy winners recently eg Silver Trace (best 2 yr old this season IMO), Dueton and Busters Empire.

Answer is C (between 2 and 4 years). Pretty amazing no one picked it up in nearly 3 years. Andrew, I never read your rants so don't waste them targeting me. I do hope you can move on.

Really Fastmoney. I would like to see how you would go negotiating the Belmont redevelopment. I was not there when it was largely done. I can tell you that it was not achieved by incompetent or ignorant individuals, quite the contrary. But no point …

I'm not going to give the answer until more guesses. What surprises me is that we must have all seen the sign and only now someone has commented on it

PT, I moved on this following your posts last week. Thanks for making me aware if it. PR will be making members more aware of it. Funny though that it has been available for some 12 months. It appears that the few members who have used it, don't lik…

Just a little fun test. How long has the sign been in existence.? A: less than 3 months B: 3 months to 12 months C: 1 year to 2 years D. 2 years to 4 years E. 4 years to 8 years F. More than 8 years If you haven't been to Ascot or never watched a …

To be honest Rio, I am not sure. I hardly ever go in the committee room or on the members floor. I rather be down with the day to day crowd or in the King Edward Room. I did ask and there has been a sign on the committee room on Wednesdays making it…

Good luck to Chris.

PT, I am a little confused about some of your comments about restricted areas and dress sense for members for mid week races. For nearly 12 months PR has made available the committee room solely for members for mid week races (I think this has been …

For what it is worth, I have taken on a few quality mares owned by hobby breeders over the past few years where we have shared in the resultant progeny. The owners bare no costs but I get my costs back first and we then have a profit share arrangeme…

IMO the Perth Sale is better for buyers than vendors. I concur with TB and Iame. Breeding is a extremely difficult to get a return in WA for small and large breeders. What you need in this game is a good stallion that gets at least 50 outside mares.

Scoot, some words of advice. Don't take the negativity from the veterans of this site too seriously. You have most probably given them a real buzz, being able to give a "first timer" a hard time. It's good old bullying. They will attempt to bait you…

I Am Invincible is a far superior type to Invincible Spirit. Invincible Spirit is only just a type. His progeny had to do it on the track to make him as he didn't produce "sale" horses. Have been looking for a son of Invincible Spirit to bring to WA…

Some analysis was done a couple of years ago comparing different sales. The most surprising matter IMO was that the Perth Sale was the only sale where if you has acquired every lot (at their respective sale price) you would have derived more prize m…

PR good as owns Ascot. We have a 999 year lease under an Act of Parliament. It will remain the premier race track in WA for our life time and our children's children lives.

A$ to NZ$ exchange rate will have material adverse impact on Aussie buyers

Odds on that Neville spends the most money at the Perth Magic Millions Sales.
-
Legless, and that is the genius of the deal Ted and Lex did with GRD. The more sales and profit they make, the more money PR makes.
-
Damian, I'm not sure what "cause" you are on about? It is not personal. If someone else had written the crap you had written I would have responded just the same. You just seem to have a habit of writing comments that attempt to make PR look bad and…

I should know, I'm the largest owner of this commercially failed stallion

Scenic out of a Rubiton mare

PR members come along to the next members liaison meeting which is planned for Saturday, 3rd May. The new major shareholders of GRD are the Gunawan family from Indonesia. Amongst other investments, they own 46% of Panin Bank one of the top 7 banks …

Theodor Posts: 172 January 10 QuoteFlag+1 -1 +3 No debt will be taken on by PR to build the new facilities. It will be about 7 metres closer to the track and simply sensational. Still getting final approvals. Will be a venue that is open 7 day…

Squash going as well as tennis. There is a health club / gym being built within the new facility. That is being designed by GRDs people but will be of a similar standard to Next Gen at Kings Park. Next Gen has squash courts that are very popular.
-
Funkster, we will not save a cent by excluding the squash courts. PR is not paying any money towards the gym but we get ownership. The infrastructure costs for lights is circa $7m and these will be lights that can be reversed onto the in-field for…
