The Cleaner joins the club after going down a nostril in the Lawrence Stakes ...ran his typical game race and just..I mean just..nabbed on the post. Picked up $36k ....not everyones favourite but one of mine. The story continues.

    Gees he was damn tough. I backed Mourinho so was cheering for it but the cleaner just wouldnt fuck off! Great game effort!

    He could be back for another shot at the Railway. He might be a $2mil horse if he wins that and @puntingtragic will be doing the mop & bucket dance as promised X_X

    I feel for the trainer who couldn't make the trip because of his emphysema.

    He seems like a great bloke, and this will be his last throw at the dice, I reckon.

    I doubt that he'll never get another horse as good as The Cleaner, so I hope he recovers and can come over to watch the champ in the future.

    Should be no worries for him going to Melbourne for future runs BL. He is not allowed to fly but normally goes on the "ferry". However it was booked out this time.
