Interested to see how race 1 tomorrow is priced up.

I think Castle Retreat and hellyer are miles better then sheidel.

Both deserve to be clear in the market around the $2.3 - $2.5 mark for Castle and about $3.5 for Hellyer. Sheidel is a lay at anything under 7s and Gabsie is the unknown obviously.

Most of the races are rubbish to be honest the second and the last on the card you could throw a blanket over them.

Best bets.

Race 1 Castle Retreat win / Quinella with Hellyer / Straight out trifectas with the field for third.

Race 3 Bonny Zara

Race 6 Fast Flowing

Race 7 Thats The Way.

    Heavy rain for hours in Bassendean, so Belmont couldn't be the wettest today for several years. Might make for some very spectacular B & W images with all the mud flying ??

    All e/w...best of them in the last. First up specialist jock on a horse that does okay on heavier tracks with very little weight...Main danger....the meeting doesn't get to the last race if it continues to rain during the day!!!!

    Good Drying weather spells today only light rain Belmont will hold up has never looked better this season

    While it will be a bit soft under foot nothing to be too concerned about

    They race on a heavy ten at the Bool lol here people freak if the track is a Dead 3

    Fast = 1
    Good - 2 & 3
    Dead - 4 & 5
    Slow - 6 & 7
    Heavy - 8, 9 & 10

    Haven't seen a fast track rating on a city meeting in Perth
    For a long time
    Good 3 or Dead 5 seems to be the norm

    Commiserations to anyone who backed Aldentae Girl (R2) for the place or had it in their Trifecta. Natasha Faithful fair dinkum you rode it for 990 metres, why not finish the job?
    By the way i didn't back it, I just get so annoyed when riders don't ride their horse to the line!!!

    Yep agree Bobby how many times do we see a jock stop riding an miss a drum in the first 4 annoying alright especially midweek an country

    Almost as annoying as D Mac calling your horse third an its run sixth lol
