oh and @legless if you want me to pick your sisters phone up from that photo, i can do that, pass the phone to you (you'll have to wipe all the slober off of it as i only every pick up phones with my tounge)...and then you will be able to dial into Punta every hour...simple

Punta doing any other specials on the day Diva? Im devastated i didnt get on the "double the odds for a horse that hasnt won at Ascot before". My little filly brought home the bacon at a nice price which could have been doubled!

Any chance of a special in the Fillies and Mares race? You know you want to...

Got one question Diva - it appears when on the Punta website, that the site logs you out within 30 minutes of last action - just wondering if this is something than can be adjusted - as most other bookmaking sites allow you to be logged in for 1-2 hours, before automatic logging out.

Having to put in username/password for every race gets a bit tedious.

let me speak to my technical dude about that. I'm sure it can be adjusted.

If you're on course tomorrow and can't get reception, you can come to our stand and place a bet on your account on the IPAD.

I raised this exact issue last week, more than once and didn't get a reply from chris.. At first I bough it was just my Internet connection! But without sounding negative or selfish I'm glad you had the same issue LL and it wasn't just me... Having to log in after being timed out is ridiculous and not only frustrating but very very costly for someone wanting to place multiple bets minutes before the death
  • LuckyLongshotsLuckyLongshots    4,270 posts
Yep @hash - generally being timed out is due to the website setting it's 'cookie' to a particular duration. (generally has nothing to do with how you have anything set)

Banks keep to around 10-15 minutes max, most bookie sites I have used keep to around 1-2 hours.

Constructive criticism is good for websites, as they can only get better from it!

Yeh true my Internet banking is only a few mins, if u get distracted a don't get done what u need to they'll time u out after a few mins... Betfair your able to se the session time out from 1,2,3 or 4 hours
Having to log in and out too often is frustrating and when your Internet connection is slower than usual I jus becomes all too hard
