Hopefully the Derby is a good close game!
The extra day off certainly in Weagles favour, especially with the tough conditions at the SCG last Sunday. I glad Freo don't have to travel the following week.
Freo's backline is a lot more solid than the previous encounter, with Silvagni in to support McPharlin and Grover.

Harvey playing ducks and drakes re Sandilands. He won't play.
Not sure if the would rush Suban in either, could be a good sub.

Arguably match of the round. Yes the MCG will be packed on Sat nite, but betting markets suggest the Derby has the two most closely matched teams. 8)

How so? Ice Coast were $1.44 last time I looked?

Another mature age diamond, Nicky Lower is a beauty, gives a hard edge we've been missing for eons

And dare I say it, there has been signs of life from 'Chicken' Palmer . . . . improved form or getting the currency up, either is good

    Freo is gay.

This is not an opinion. It has been scientifically proven by experiments carried out using homosexual orangutangs and players from the FFC. Only the results were published as details involving Adam Mcphee and one of the primates was apparently considered illegal even in Mexico where the experiments were conducted for their lax laws.

Ok, so Sydney @ $1.51 marginally closer in betting

Pretty sure main compensation criteria is a) $ GWS offer, then b) age of player. Games played and where taken in the draft are secondary criteria.
So lets hope they throw a stack of money at him! :P

I went to Mandurah once, but ran into a family of bogans who tried to steal my shoes, imagine you were related to them...

Geez, toughen up, anybody would think you were sponsored by Kleenex.

I thought we were all chardy sippers? Make up your mind.

I hope you guys are able to pack out the stadium this weekend, your last two home game numbers have been very disappointing.

No doubt there will only be 3000 supporters there at 3/4 time after Kennedy kicks his 10th after the siren.

Got a feeling Beau going to flatten somebody this weekend, Bilbo Baggins hopefully.

Had to laugh this week, the silence was deafening, no status updates on facebook from Toast fans

Conversely, plenty of 'good' people (who support an array of clubs) pointing out this fact with their status updates

Tell you what you go to the Wembley before the game put OCTAVIUS on your shirt and im tipping someone will flatten you without doubt you talk more trash than Danny Green and Friends you should start taking that dog of yours for more walks then thats less time on here writing shite   but to agree i dont think we can win this weekend it pains me to say it but we got beat easy when Sandi and Mundy were there last time if Griffin is sore we have nobody in the ruck and thats the Eagles strength if JK kicks 10 on Lukey Mac he is doing well he has had a fantastic year

Dungy the side we field this week is stronger than the one we fielded last Derby even with Sandi and Mundy out.
Anyone notice Barlow had 11 posessions in his one quarter of footy last week, which should have him cherry ripe for this week  Definitely won't be sub this week.
If Johnson doesn't come up, Bradley is a more than adequate replacement, Suban in for Hayden and wouldn't be surprised to see Pearce, Crowley or Mellington come in for Roberton, Palmer, Clarke or Duffield - who is well down on form.
Freo overs imo, either team <15.5 @ $3 is probably the bet.

How good is the WAFL going...............Now that's competition equilisation.
18 rounds in and the bottom team is 2 wins from 4th !!!
(and further to that - the bottom team then yesterday beat the top team)

There are some teams that just always cover the Line through depth & class, and some that are inevitable Line defaulters.
When the two come together, the result is easy money.

Your boys look set for another generation of despair.

Win lose or draw (and I'm not talking through my kick, because I've won plenty today):
THE UMPIRING STANDARD IS RUINING THE GAME OF FOOTBALL

Agree the umpiring today both ways was woeful but if you don't win by plenty then nothing better then winning by 1 point :D

The only thing that will make this day better is when Octavious chimes in over the top with an ill-informed comment :)

Good win Eags no probs from me there boys had a decent lick of the under 39.5 all up with Geelong ova and Hwks ova 9.40 thatnks for coming  softens the blow  ,great game full stop we were just a ruckmen short all day i agree Jordan both sides of the game umpiring was woeful but hey will be ok next year with a fit list congrats to the Eagles

Don't soften Dungy, give them nothing.
Do you reckon they'd be saying the same if Ballantine had've slotted it??

Couragious fightback by Freo. Griffin subed off with a groin, Hill played on after doing a calf in the 1st half. Lower and Johnson also both played on injured. Both teams had their chances.
Freo got smashed in the clearances with Zac Clarke out of his depth against Cox & Nat.

I just hope the first week of finals is WC v Freo. I'm sure Sandilands and Mundy back in will be worth just a little bit more than a goal

FFS Harv's, get Kepler back in the team and get rid of some of those leppers like McPhee who could hit the side of a barn!

Me too, would be the third win against your mob for the year.

Gee I wish I took that line bet choc, how silly of me.

Heads up fellas, beaten by the better team.

    We're flying high!

Occy youre a funny yet loveable bloke.
The Line was -16.5, which obviously means we covered it.
I realise you don't understand that what means.
It's evident by your general comments, there's probably a lot you don't understand.
But look keep supporting your boys, and don't get upset by the inevitable heartburn that will occur if you think you're the real deal.
