Looks Freo have about 26 fit players to choose from this week with Michie and McPhee (no loss) going down last week and Roberton up before the tribunal.
Clayton Hinkley could have claims for his first game since the Hawks Tassie fiasco last year when we sent our reserves side.
I'll be tipping Port if Hinkley gets a game :P

I will have to tip you because Port are horrible, but got a feeling you will get rolled.

    Westhoff will kick 6.

    Port are TERRIBLE!!!

Have played more players than any other club bar GC....
C Cornes gone, won't play again this week, looks like they will debut Butcher instead, Pittard looks ok from there kids but thats it... Pearce's heart is made of tissue paper and tears at the thought of hard work... K Cornes is a hack who hangs on to good players all day long, only has possessions that go 15-20m, and then has to get it back to build his stats...

Chaplin is ok down back but lacks support... Too many go missing and the forward line is as reliable as a politicians promise....

Freo are not travelling that well and have injury concerns, but if they are a finals team at all, they have to account for this rabble!

    other games:

Cats, now spurred by the loss of Bobby Davis, I thought this was a bit of a danger game but they are mentally stronger than the blues and this will mean a lot...

St K vs Melbourne... The dees are Jeckel and Hyde, well this week its their good sides turn to shine, Saints are going hopeless, However do have the talent to trounce the dees, but not on form

Tig and Dons... Dons outs only increase their price, unfortunately for our boys, our defensive side is own downfall, and little fukkers like Riemers and Zharharakis are the types who tear us a new one... Only chance we have is to absolutely smash them in the middle and hope the nursing home don't let fletcher out past his bedtime!!!

Lions v North.... How unlucky are north, J Brown is like a superstar colt who is 7 from 7 first up, they won't be able to stop him, there only chance is to make sure the ball doesn't go withtin 30m of him... Brown to kick 8!

Pies v Crows... Pies enough said, well nearly, Adelaide are pretenders with no heart and no depth...

Syd v Hawks... Have struggled to believe Hawks are back to their premiership best, and still don't believe so, but Sydney dont have the firepower to blow them away in a short period, Hawks do... Injuries shouldn't stop the hawks here even in Sydney

WCE v WB ... Bulldogs couldn't do a thing wrong against the tiggs early and could miss the major opening either, if it wasn't for their start they may have been in trouble on Sunday.... Things wont be as easy against the Eagles pressure and the trip west. WCE in a close one...

At least the Suns won't lose this week!!!

I like Saints & Sydney this weekend. Hawks are pretenders, they have the worst backline in the comp and Sydney will apply too much pressure.

Hamish Hartlett goes alright for Port, Jacobs will be a player too. Will be good to see Butcher debut, he will be a super player in the future if he can get his body right, great contested mark and kicks it pretty well.

Brown to kick 8 is a big call, from memory he does have a good record against the North key defenders but will be lacking match fitness and will be double teamed as opposition will know he is the only one who could muster a Brisbane win. Play somebody stupid like Thompson in front of him. Tough tip.

Is that the same Butcher that was/is playing for Port Magpies?

Think so, heard he was good in the Foxtel game last weekend.

He was a draft slider a couple of years back in the Morabito/Sheppard draft. Was a top 3 pick early on.

Like Darling he rec'd alot of attention in the U18 champs because of his rep and carried an injury that year from memory.

    Quality key forward prospect.

Palmer towelled Claremont up last week.
Can't be too desperate for numbers if he can't even get a game.
FFS............WC even give Swift the occasional game !!!

No point Palmer playing unless he's in the middle getting dirty

He has to aspire to be Priddis, useless disposal so get it and give it to someone who can

    Woohoo :!: :!: :!:
They have dropped Jay Van Berlo. With him and McSh!t out there go half of our teams total clangers and turnovers.
Tendai to debut and fingers crossed Ballas comes up then Freo are a lock!

After watching that, reaffirms what I thought (until that anomaly of last week). Pies just had a rancid night, theyve got 5 goals on both teams out there tonight
  • dungydungy    9,278 posts
I think your right there DS i was on Carlton and filthy when the WarNOT!!!! missed but it was a solid win by the Cats as they have had a big week plus coming of that big game last week against the pies
  • squid69squid69    1,434 posts
The Blues definitely missed their chances, should have won, however I reckon proved that we should challenge for the top 4.

    Geelong - Loss 2 points
    Essendon - Draw
    Collingwood - Loss 4 goals.

Darkshines is right, at their best, the Pies have a little on the competition. 3-4 goals in my books.

We have three nice winning chances coming up, Melbourne, Port and Brisbane. Should cement ourselves well in the 8.

One thing we do need is Matthew Kreuzer. Warnock does the job as a tap ruckman, however Kreuzer has lengths on him around the ground. I just don't think Matty will get near his peak this season, great to see him back for the Bullants this weekend. Ratts - take him slowly :!:

You can take the player out of the dockers, but you can't take the docker out of the player...

Heard on ABC Radio this morning that Warnock is in hospital, but has been cleared of structural injuries following the high contact that led to the free kick. He will leave hospital later on in the weekend.

Reckon he was seeing more than 4 posts when he kicked that point...
