I must admit, not really keen on this meeting for a bet tomorrow.. just be nice to see a few nice types go around. I'll be at Caulfield anyway, but will catch the replays once I'm home.

Hermosa Corona and Rose Of Dante probably catch my eye the most, interested to see what odds are offered. Assuming I remember/aren't too hammered and odds permitting, I'll have a piece of them. I'll put on my interest quaddie in the morning before I leave 8)

I don't think Hay List is over the line yet either, but won't be betting on the race, so it'd be good to see him win by a space :P

I can't make it to the races tommorrow, other than a flying visit to collect from 2 bookmakers courtesy of two roughies in the last two meetings. Then straight back to work.

Just as well, I would have to tie a bone around my neck to get the dog to play with me at the moment !! LOL

Tips without a great deal of thought.........

R1 I'm Here To Win (one of the better Numerous Times)
R2 Kasabian (just keeps going from strength to strength)
R3 Hay List (wish he was mine)
    R4 No pick too hard
R5 Same again leave me out
R6 Zuytdorp (went close last time, not confidant probably no bet)
    R7 Nope too hard
R8 Same again leave me out

So first three only and then cue in the rack.

pending pace ....and price im happy with Tudor lad 1200..final 600 in 33.87 should be better value..but hay list will be hard to beat

if they want to beat Hay List tomorrow, then the others would have to have started last week to have any chance(providing all is well with it)

    UPSET

Man o' War, (March 29, 1917 Nursery Stud farm, Lexington, Kentucky - November 1, 1947, Faraway Farm) is considered one of the greatest thoroughbred racehorses of all time.[1] During his career just after World War I, he won 20 of 21 races and $249,465 in purses.[2]

Trained by Louis Feustel and ridden by Johnny Loftus, Man o' War made an impressive racing debut at Belmont Park on June 6, 1919, winning by six lengths. Three weeks later he won the Keene Memorial Stakes.

In the early 1900s, there were no starting gates. Jockeys circled around and then gathered their horses in a line behind a flimsy piece of webbing known as the barrier and were sent away when it was raised.[6] In Man o' War's only loss, the Sanford Memorial Stakes, he still was circling with his back to the starting line when the barrier was raised (though some accounts give other reasons.[7]) After the jockey got Man o' War turned around, he already was far behind the pack. In frustration, Johnny Loftus, the jockey, made major errors. Three times he put Man o' War in bad positions, getting boxed in by other horses. Despite this, he came close to winning, losing by only a half-length as Man o' War charged across the finish line, going much faster than any other horse on the track, and ultimately finishing second. The winner was Upset, whose name is sometimes thought to have popularized a new phrase in sports ("upset" meaning an upstart beating the favorite).

Lot of rain last night, and again as I type.

Race 3 has really become disappointing. Just 7 runners left. Rapidly turning into another no bet race on a Saturday.

for the above even odds Kasabian is paying, I wouldn't mind laying him. It takes a very good horse to back up after one week to win over 1600m again in town. He is a very good horse and he'll be hard to hold out however anything under $3.00 is good laying odds on betfair I reckon.

Don't think Marine Drive would have won no matter what sort of run he had!

I had it 1.4(Kasabian) and that's being generous to the other pretenders.
Then I had to read what somebody I know has connections said!!!
    So I watched only!!!

Believe me or not horse is showing signs of training off that's why i thought he was vulnerable today but good horses know how to win i guess!

Well my favourite Mr lollywater, you can see a repeat in the very next race.
1.4 is only 71% chance too, although I price to 80% so it was really deserving to be much shorter than that!
If you get $2 for every horse you price at 1.4 then......you end up RICH!!!
Provided of course your prices are ballpark accurate.

    not msb!!!

msb. you have buggered me with science. would never touch any win bet under 3 bucks. put 200 pounds on a horse paying 2/1 . it was beaten by a nose and i still have scar on my brain from that try.
