    Nope no way will he. I am talking about the trainers premiership. If he does go to the bighouse though he might spend some sleepless nights in there wondering if the prizemoney was worth it. Even more so if he has to share a cell with big bubba

    Once he knew he was nailed, as in charges, laid the first lot. The prizemoney wasn't the issue anymore, Seems like he worked on the theory may as well be hanged for a sheep as a lamb and his punters privy to the ones that were to  receive the high octane...….Bingo, horses  just kept winning and they kept going positive, his punters kept collecting probably made him enough to retire if he invested the winnings wisely,

    Ben Currie we have the proof you have robbed  3 banks, go and rob another 35 banks get what you can for yourself, then we will hand out your penalty  after  no 38 robbery. This is how stupid this whole saga seems to have played out.

    Racing  irreparable damage done by currie, weir etc.,should never be relicensed..

    All Jeed Up having his first start for us this weekend at the Sunny Coast.

    Race 4 #1 - Josh Oliver steering.

    Marks record so far - 18 starts - 3 wins (16.7%) , 10 placings (55.6%).

    Only has 3 going around this weekend; Amanaat at Doomben - Race 4 #1 @ evens, Our bloke at the Sunny Coast and Viserion at Warra (non TAB) Saturday.

    Apparently racing NSW have issued Mark Currie with a show cause and have banned hjim from nominating horses in NSW

    Toowoomba Turf Club... committee voted 4-3 to ban mark currie from training at Clifford park.

    That decision was put to members who voted by a majority of two 97-95 to overturn committee decision and allow currie to train at Clifford park.

    They lost a former chairman Bob Frappell who had been on the committee for 2 decades and was chairman from 2010-2016,and the treasurer for past three years, after the members had voted. Frappell  resigned.

    Yesterday QRIC. reduced ben curries fine from 45k-to 10k..and reduced his disqualification period….No wonder Queensland racing work on  theory.  only licensing the straight bananas

    All Jeed Up having another go this weekend, Toowoomba or Sunny Coast.
    Didn't like the heavy going one bit. It's fine all week in Qld, so we'll see if he goes ok on a Good.

    His tip toeing effort last week actually looked pretty funny.

    I read that brother of Robert Smerdon, John Smerdon, is enjoying an excellent run of 6 winners from his last 10 starters, including one at $16 into 2.20 in QLD.

    Just haven't had time Falc, 8 days off in the last 2 months.

    Currie (Mark) still ticking along ok, 10 winners (14%), 35 place getters (46%).
    Much smaller team than the stable had previously.

    All Jeed UP is back in work. Hopefully comes back a bit more switched on. Looked ok in patches in his 2nd start 5th, but lost stride a few times, just as he looked like charging home. He's huge and gangly sohoping he can get it right.

    Haven't spoken with Ben for ages.

    Trainer Ben Currie's fraud case adjourned

    Toowoomba trainer Ben Currie has had his charges on alleged fraud adjourned again.

    Currie's case was Listed in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Monday but he did not have to appear.

    The case was adjourned until October 18 for a committal mention.
