Definately, certainly extremely similar circumstances to Mr Moet, I just think the 57 might be a leveller first up. Has had a million trials though. Definately in all my exotics

Yes Falc, King of Wu. He sliced the frog of his hoof open pretty badly somehow around the stable, which put an end to his last prep. We were bringing him back again as a 9yo, but he pulled up with a bit of heat in a fetlock after a track gallop, so we called it quits. Running around on 270 acres up Waroona way now. He earn't over $200k. Not bad for a $9k purchase.

I've got a couple of 2yo fillies with Lindsay Smith now. A Magnus and an Artie Schiller

Had a few hours to kill tonight, so had a whisky (or three) and wrote an amateurs preview of Saturdays card.

Read at your own risk and be warned I was a few whisky's down when writing it :D <:-P

Certainly agree about the last race, i was all keen to be on Pearl Trade after its first up run but the distance and jock put me off. They bet $26 though.

Im with Harvey and Watch Me Ney Ney at $14

I can't see past Man Booker.Only needs a little bit of luck early.Already beaten Galaxy Star on merit as he carried 4.5kg more, raced outside leader that day.Last run was very good,Will be at his peak for this.

I distinctly remeber you have an absolute ripping day last year with at least 2 winners at $30+

That is correct,it's my favourite meeting of the year. Was on Great Shot at $31 last year as I thought Man Booker was a superior horse to him (Bunbury Stakes,Pinjarra Classic and Grandstand Cup in 3 consecutive runs) Was also on Perfect Jewel and Push To Pass at $91 in the last.

That opened up old wound @Chelsea

I was at the Darwin RSL after work and after a horrible day, I had a long hard look at Push To Pass but quitting for the day and licking my wounds seemed the better option.

You can imagine how I reacted after the grey got up at cricket score odds ~X( ~X( ~X(

Great day for Bob Peters, Grant & Alana Williams, Adam Durrant and of course William Pike.

However a hard day for anyone hoping to upgrade breeding stock or improve their Stallion's standing in this State commercially via Group wins. It looks on paper that the next two weeks could be similar in terms of the gap between what is commercially viable and what will be cast aside by buyers at the next round of yearling sales in Perth.

I don't represent any Breeders and haven't now for a couple of years. It makes me wonder if there is anyone willing to take on Bob at his own game.

Pretty good performance all the same from MM(3rd on settling). Look at the comparison of the times for the three 1600m races(Railway in red ink)?

    Race 1 1.35:89, 1st 1000m 59.22 last 600m 36.67
    Race 7 1:34.95, 1st 1000m 59.65, last 600m 35.30
    Race 8 1.34:05, 1st 1000m 58.49, last 600m 35.56
