Just the one bet tonight and getting it out of the way early, a driver and horse kept to their word last Saturday when they crossed the finishing line after an unlucky second at Bunbury shouted in unison..'I'll be back' and here they are, arriving promptly for the first race at headquarters under a week later. They also demanded the barrier one draw - and got it!

Race1. # 1. Hastalavista.
+1 -1

Race 1: I won’t be betting, I think Soho Changeling gets it chance will be in a good spot either behind the leader, 1-1 or 1-2
Race 2: Neighlor is still worth a small each way bet, as is I’m Soxy who has been each well, an interesting watch on Lincoln as well. Hope the first three all want to lead and make it not a procession behind speed man

She can let go on her night in the right company with the right run and then other occasions can be a bit under whelming. Very good breadwinner - just a little tricky.

A treble to Jocelyn Young. First treble by a female driver on a Friday night programme since Kelly Kersley ???

Does that give the Hastalavista drive a shake @Rocket_Reign?

Am 50/50 whether Nathan Turvey should have let go when he did - for a fraction of a moment thought he'd mistook the laps and that they were swinging for home - perhaps could have camped on Tuia's Delight a little longer - although that horse admittedly was ready to give it away after a torrid run.

Turvey didn't die wondering and full credit for that - for most of the last lap was almost a game winning drive.

The winner though was remarkable. Young didn't panic either.

Good to see horses of similar abilities but different racing characteristics being involved in an actual race of tactical ups and downs. Eventually played into the favourites hands but well worth rolling the dice.

    Was a good omen tonight.
Race 2 was 'Leading Tipster - Matt Young MS Pace'.
Winning driver driver of the race on $7.50 chance - Jocelyn Young.
Same mentioned tipster noticed threw out 20/1 shot Speed 'N Reef in the Carnarvon Cup and it saluted in first place.

Good to see another couple of tipsters 'tipping the most individual winners on a night award' - Ken Casselas and Stuart Lowe - they have been around one heck of along time. Didn't mind Stewie as a caller at all.

Good nights pacing...am going to hand the honours to Motu Premier - was never going to get past a good horse in King Of Swing - but did, and Jocelyn Young a driving treble.

As they say in the classics.... Hastalavista!
