Back from France with lots of stories!

Best one I thought was about the life of the martyr Saint Denis; pronounces SAN Den Ee phonetically.
He was killed by the Romans in about 300AD for apparently refusing to swear number one allegiance to the Roman Emperor of the time.
After such fame the English tried to pronounce his name and..... gradually the name became Sid En Nee which is Sydney; so ... we have a French connection!
The Frenchies I told did not seem to like this much; as if we had stolen their Saint and Anglicized him! The looks I received were classics! You would have thought that Anglicize equals circumsize!

Any rate, I know I won’t be close to Terry the Tipster for tomorrow but I will try and also make sure I have fun flllowing then!

R/1 It looks like a 2 horse race; Kelly’s should win again
But if there is a mad speed war up front, it would bring in Regal Council.

R2/ I cant separate the two Sigly runners here; am guessing they have both improved sig after their spells.
The in form Paddy has the ride ; so the tighter Dia De La Raza is on top.

R3/ This will be the race of the day for me; full of tactics for sure.
The market says only 3 horses; I have to leave out Falcon Crest as he has been yo for awhile.
Then I leave out At the Ready as I don’t like horses that take a long time to warm up when in a Listed Race.
So I am left with Gatting, who I’m hoping has a lot of upside here. I have to put in the mare Shinta Mani as she is tremendously inconsistent (as mares can be!) and she just loves this distance.

R4/ I’m going wide here ..... with More Aces.
He is prob thought of as a speedy type with great sus re the 1200 and Belmont.
But he did beat Belter one day fair and square, admittedly over 1100 and Ascot.
But then there is the top trainer and jockey plus I am hoping sig improvement.

R5/ Two horses here for me; Street Fury and Pearl Trade.
The former is the logical improving form runner.
The latter just needs a fast pace and some luck and she would romp it in.

R6/ Reykjavik is the improving type here coming off a strong win mid-week.
If we can spell his name and pronounce it, we should be on a winner.
I will tell you the MIL joke about thus another time!

R7/ Rubia Miss is an old fave of mine, so has to go in.
This is the most open face of the day!
Bonny be Good was going I thought to be the best 3yo filly of her day, when I guess something went wrong.
I ended up with Gomer Whipple as maybe he is just not a stayer as shown last time in.
HE can sprint v well fresh and might just round them up here.
And that leaves out the eccentric Get the Vibe.

R8/ Can they beat Tellem We’re Comin?
His sectionals and finishes have been spectac: so only bad luck can beat him.
I will put in the big horse Gunnago with Paddy in such great form.

Well ; watch out out for Camembert; release from NSWHealth Dr says the bugs on it might affect immunocompronised folk; sure smells like that to me!
Good Luck all.

3:-O Not much luck Source for me with the Vatican trainer!

But I will put him in.

R/2 DDLR easing and the top weight coming in.

I'll switch to the bottom one ; PK and Gangemi combo.

My hunch in R4/ firming big time; will rush down now to se what I can rescue odds wise..
