Was impressed with both Pyms Royale and Medici Vase...the ride on Pyms Royale by Mitchell Pateman a bobby dazzler.

@stg think a horse by the name of Medici ran third in a Melbourne Cup at about 150/1 many moons ago.

Don't think young Kirby has too much to worry about in what you think about where he should be riding Source. A few of your postings on here have missed the mark completely not having a go just saying

    That's a fair assessment spinking.

Having said that how embarrassing to have your dad fight your battles online.

I don't think he is doing that, but he probably should not have let it be known he is the dad.
I suspect, he was just a proud dad at first, and rightly so, as he was going very well.
I do agree though that some of those later rides would be worthy of questions being asked of him.
I guess riders need thick skins, but if people are betting, then they are entitled to voice their opinions, as the riders don't have jobs without those people.

Thanks for your reply Carey but the question was directed at the Source , thinking that he or her already knew the identity of B.Kirbies mum (tigers2014). Thus my asking who was he inferring is his dad

Proud at first ??? Hmmmm never not been proud whether it’s win lose or draw, to me my child is not a commodity that I only support when he’s winning, you take the good with the bad which ever way it goes, just because he’s having a form slump doesn’t mean I’m not proud, any parent would tell you the same :)>-

you need to read it properly....proud of what he was achieving in the saddle.
it's a given that you would already be proud of your children as most parents are.
no need to be so precious

So true save the game, yet I’m not one to make excuses, I’m the first to criticise when it’s called for, but then I only stand to lose my $1 ew so no big deal for me, I only bet what I’m happy to lose :D
