Its like Shinn thought he was at Moonee Valley.Muppet....

And agree @ Det re: Aloisia just had a race to forget nothing went right.I too thought uh oh from the moment she dropped a shoe..it upset her and subsequently she was very fractious in the barriers then had some positioning issues in the run.A lot of babies would have spat it and run way down the track yet she still battled on gamely right to the finish.Might get her Oaks trophy in April next year tho Dungy?

Different trainer dungy, not Fred anymore.

Fred would be one of the few trainers I’d take note of when he sends something East.

Might be a few fill ups today over east starting with Hogmanay r3 Rosehill...very open race with 6 priced between 4.8 and $7 but i reckon the hog is due.Plus he shouldnt get held up today with a midfield draw and the smaller field.Heavier the place i see profit a coming :D

Later Zumbelina lines up again in r6 should go very close, just needs to find a nice midfield position with cover
Shinn is riding both hope he is in prime form today.

    Zumbelina $2.90 unplaced tote favourite.

    Invinzabeel $30 winner on tote.

Both trained by Chris Waller. He's the best!

when you have as many horses as waller does the odd roughie must pop up..as it does with other stables...weir, waterhouse/bott etc.
nothing sinister involved...all are doing their best..a horse cannot tell you if it feels a bit "lousy" on a certain day like we mere mortals can....

Absolutely Falcon..was just being tongue in cheek a little...moreso the scourge of betting up and being upset by the longer priced stablemate...has to be one of the most annoying things to happen in betting.

Easily solved though : if you can and there's still profit to be made have a little on the longer priced ones. Just in case.

What is it with these morons in SA - barrier attendant stood down for attempted strike - A barrier attendant in South Australia has been stood down after attempting to strike a horse that had tried to bite him several times.

Reckon that kid Baylee Nothdurft is regaining his form..ready to start punching out a string of winners..6 rides at toowomba last week for 2 winners 4 seconds.
See how he ends up fairing today.Good for a treble at least i reckon and a few placings as well..ran 2nd in r1 @ 2.20 the drum.

@Thunderstruck The 'Skye' is the limit? :-?
  • ThunderstruckThunderstruck    7,696 posts
She may limit rides for some of the apprentices i spose Trk...but Ben Currie seems to mostly like putting the apprentices on to get weight relief..
Plus Skye is unpl from 2 rides today and ive never been one to back her much.Only keep an eye on Toowomba mainly when this lad is in some form dont trust the class of animal much obviously.
And there's nothing wrong with place dominant bets to turn a profit imo.

    So quiet this thread fmd...

Anywho .. Jimmy Byrne is punching home some long priced winners today at the Goldy!!!..was lucky enough to jag one in Feltre earlier although how it started a juicy $13 fixed has me fkd(and after Touch of Silver"s milky effort at Ascot i spat the chewy and had more on too), it Won EASY as you like.

Ringo to finish off a decent day for me there.

Crusher in the 1st can bounce back here and the reliable Cantbuybetter (race 7) can too!
Ben and the boys should have an enjoyable trip this arvo back up the hill  ;))
