I see that The United States is running in his final race (before retiring to stud) in Hong Kong in a Group 1 on Sunday.

Rarely nominate one over East but I have followed one that had no luck in running last start and could improve greatly today. A big chance at odds.

The Perth Cup winner Star Exhibit wins first-up at 1400m in his eastern states debut in a stakes race - great effort.

    Well played Thunder.

Belsapphire.....$5.50 the place and Trifecta with the two favourites. Happy enough with that.

    Star Exhibit :-?

someone tipped it on here I think, i know i read a tip for it somewhere! well done whoever it was
huge training effort to have a perth cup winner win first up in that type of a race

Can comparisons be made to past WA staying greats or is it too early yet?

I mean for a Perth Cup winner to win first-up after a spell at 1400m in stakes company in his eastern states debut is an outstanding effort.

@PC It's Perth Cup with an asterisk. Since it went to 2400m, winning  first up at 1400m is not such a huge task. Impressive, no doubt and Weir is a freak but would it have been able to do the same if it had run over 3200m in the Cup?

Think their going to Brisbane but yet to decide on whether to shoot for the Doomben Cup or a level down the Brisbane Cup and lead ups to that race(which may be the better route).

Saw this race come up on thoroughbred central this morning. Trainer going to court to overturn a race result. 17 times over the allowable whip limits, someone really should have told the losing connections. https://m.racenet.com.au/news/133593/Legal-challenge over Eagle Farm whip result

If they have these rules you should be able to protest, if u make contact with another runner decision is upheld, this should be no diffrent...

Ben has 2 going around at the Farm today. Very keen on He's A witness (race 7) to bring up his 4th win in a row.  the 1 has some form but with the 7kg pull in the weights and perfectly drawn, I can't see The Witness getting beat.

Currently $8 which is very tasty indeed.

    ;;)

R7 @ the bool Jungle Edge very hard to beat.Gets conditions to suit again loves the heavy and 1/1 at the track.Dangers(he does have 60kg)are maybe Stellar Collision and definitely another wet tracker Chase The Horizon.

Bookmaker gave me a bonus with my deposit so I had a throw at the stumps. The thing has been backed ever since. I'm hoping it's educated money and not my bonus bet that has started this. Do me a favour and ride it home for me you lot.imageimage

I don't follow eastern states really at all but have been given a strong tip for Montauk today at Wagga, Race 7. $9 seems a good each way price.

Waller has the fav in the race which is the stablemate to your tip, I love it when he has multiple runners in one race as you can usually bet around the fav if it's his
