Rock Magic hasn't had a rider named as yet for the TJ Smith. I reckon they should give it to Mark Zahra.

A group winning rider in Sydney or Melbourne is extremely easy to find Falc.... I'd say every rider in the jocks room is a group winning rider.... after all, there are so many group races run year round in these parts. Too many in my opinion

Matamata has been abandoned. Spewing. Had one ready for the kill in the first - Valentine Secret. Black book it and get on in similar company.

Took Storm Quest (full) and Copper Creek (half) at Turf Paradise as a consolation bet.

Jim Byrne is in for a big day (I hope) for anyone interested make sure you follow his two rides in races 3 and 5 closely, don't let em go round naked!

We're expecting 20-40mm of rain in Sydney today. Randwick won't stay a soft 6 for long

Im sick of the heavy tracks in sydney it never mfn ends..I Am A Star would be doubtful for the Donny as she doesnt much like the mud.Has 53kgs too idk how she will go but Trainer doesnt have much fear throwing her into open group 1's..

A Heavy 10 at Doomben tomorrow.

We have Novative in the 2nd race. Up to a BM 75 class over 2200m.

Look, it's a big jump in grade from his last start  neck 2nd over 2000m at Towoomba (The winner broke the class record). But I like the way this bloke is improving under Ben Currie.

We get Tiffani Brooker and drop 4kg and he seems to handle the softer going ok.

The 30/1 on offer is about fair I guess.

I'll be watching RM run with interest. I can't line up the form, but I hope he acquits himself well. Have backed Japonisme (very small wager).

Hey mate id be seriously considering having some e/w on the Jap again, Valley run was good and he loves slow going and the track..this race could be his at big juicy ew odds! ;)

@Skids, G luck at the farm Bud!

That has nothing to do with why they are here. Zero.

The Derby may end up being a pretty good form race. The winner made his own luck and Gingernuts(5th) was a pretty good run considering how the track played. Hardham(3rd) and Ruthven(4th) were coming off running the quinella in the Alister Clark Stakes last start also.

Bit of a first for me tomorrow, having 2 in at the one meet.

Novative in the first and Invitto, first up in the 6th.

Novative - Has been traveling very nice lately and should go close over 2000m in another small field of only 6 starters. He's drawn the inside and we meet Kid Cruize 1.5kg better after a neck 2nd to him last time out. I think we'll see a different ride and make it more of a staying test than last time.

Invitto - This speedy little I Am Invincible filly comes back for her first run since December. She's done everything right in her 2 x 650m jump outs and looks to have benefitted from the break. Has drawn a bit wide but has the speed to cross and lead the trip, 860m is right up her alley B-)

Victory Thoroughbreds have another one going around in the last, He's A Witness. Smashed an average bunch by 7 lengths for his maiden win last start and I think he can go on with it.

Ben has another 5 going around in, what I think, is going to be a massive day for the stable ;))

Foxplay is the upset horse to SS imo on the back of that awesome Phar lap stakes win, can knock the favourite off, just hoping the god damn track maybe gets upgraded a point or two(heavy 8 atm)..
I had a quick squiz at the weather forecast yesty and there didn't appear to be much if any rain around for yesterday today and tomorrow? Slow 7 or even 6 a chance?
