Didnt see the race but watched thr replay,as there had been a bit of talk about him, but watching rrplsy he had no option as i seen evrryone else go wide, so i thought it was a good effort concidering he was in the worst part of the track, and seeing he ran the 2nd fastest last 600,so id say he would be worth watching, maybe not a Derby horse but looks like he could br a very handy type.

Very good effort against older horses as well as stated was on the gluey part of the track reckon it's a miler maybe 1800m tops in the run before was beaten by a margin by a roughie with a pie run did step up from 1400m to 1800m on that occasion

This thread should be deleted it's not fair one horse has been singled out to have its own thread started about it contesting a race it's probably not going to run in.. Must have been a slow day in the media for the PTT crew

it's like the dreaded front page curse on the tabform, any horse that features one of the first two pages with an article on it never wins that weekend

it's cringeworthy reading this thread and for someone superstitious as me it does my head in haha

Yep very good effort. That part of the track was OFF. any horse finishing in the placings on that inside part of the track is worth following next start. Riasc was another notable one

Falcon Crest fits that profile from Saturday, the owners must be brimming with confidence heading into that 1800m race next start.........!!

Falcon Crest was a brilliant run. Most unlike the Durrant stable to get one so completely wrong and move it on.

I think if you check back I thing the Gangemi boys had a real good run with horses featured on the tabform

a couple horses... and how often is the tabform published...

their horses you refer to would be literally 4% of those from the ones I've seen and followed

    :P

Dungy, you make me laugh "Royal Star looks one out of the box"
I think her biggest trouble,is getting in the box at the start.Hopefully they can cure her of that problem, but it will be of a major concern to them

@dungy - wont be winning a Derby on that p!ss poor effort today, should have toweled that lot up a long way from home

had a few set backs, more than likely be spelled or kept fresh for a tilt at the Queen Elizabeth if Waller decides to scratch Winx like he did last year

Gatting in the Piper this weekend.
went from extended noms to 15 noms... so expect it to drop away dramatically.
  • hashhash    7,495 posts
i hope they don't drop away, i want to get another good price on VEUVE DE VEGA

Ive just had my form guy message me about the Piper... not sure which horse he's referring to though?

"Ratings from his defeat of Precious Memories at this track and distance will see him open short and simply win"
"One of the better top class 3 year olds we have seen this season"
"If he arrives on course its put in, take out"
"Will be favourite, will be short and will be winning"

Why would you program the Challenge Stakes and Lex Piper Stakes 7 days apart. The same goes for the Cyril Flower & Pinjarra Classic.

im no form expert, and i sort of know the horse he is reffering to, i hope its that easy but it never is when Bob's gigi's are around. This is his bread and butter time of year.
  • thefalconthefalcon    20,489 posts

Your form guy needs to put a sock in it, tell him to take up golf if he hasn't already as he has way too much time on his hands
