William Pike will face a stewards' inquiry into why he extended his right arm and whip towards Belter late in race 3 at Ascot on Saturday

    it does look as if his momentum has stopped right before the post but I don't think there's nothing in it, would love to see the head on though...

    He's not actually using the whip at this point, is he? According to that pic, it's when Beltter loomed right up alongside the fav and looking at the replay, that's right on the line where Pike has stopped using the whip. Yes it's extended but even if it makes contact with the other horse it's not going to affect its performance in a negative way.
