Giddyup Garbage GP 13/1

Harness & Greyhounds
Race 1 Rock Diamonds Price:$1.45..comment Each Way Here.
Race 5 James Galleon $1.75 Each Way this draw
Race 8 Rabchenko $2.20 Each Way this draw.

On a positive, any chance Race 5 Unsinkable Boxer from 1 ....priced at $69 by Giddy Up or....can Nathans Courage cross American Boy in Race 6 at $6.70? John Of Arc listed as $49?, Soho Tribeca at $10? ....do they just make it up?

Numbers will win out in the cup...Chicago Bull will get the favours but I will be stupidly loyal and stay with Soho Tribeca.

Did Gloucester Park's fields actually make the form guide today?
I would have thought after recent form that Ballina, Gosford, Ararat or some other outer country Eastern State country town races would have taken preference in the so called "The West Australian"!

Spot on VK, that glorified fish wrapper is on a further downward spiral....the minimalist coverage of the Group 1 Pacing Cup is all the evidence you need ....they pinch Eastern states copy to fill the columns. Absolute insult that paper....it has become such a skinny paper that when my paper chucker throws it up the driveway, it hasn't got enough weight to make the journey.

Get a bloke like Russell Betts he can he can provide accurate pricing, accurate assessment, accurate gate speed etc etc to the best of his knowledge and ability. He also lives in Perth! Would you prefer his prowess or somebody doing it from NSW ? It's a joke the tab is embarrassing itself. Those prices and comments JJ has given as an example above...their an insult to your intelligence. Yet the tab sells it as a great guide to punters. Get real tab - get out of cahoots with the West Australian newspaper , get rid of giddyup and pay somebody who actually knows something about the game.

Probably done by someone sitting at a computer in Sydney that has no idea and never watched a replay of WA Harness meetings.

Does Russel Bets still follow the harness game?

I cant wait for the day - when a pacer is named " Dan Murphy " - because all i  ever read in that rag is that " Nobody ever beats Dan Murphy "

All that gutter rag is full of is alcohol adds - some days there are 8-9 pages of that craap

All Stokes has done is take the news out and fill it full of adds - sure the bottom line would look ok to him - but it is a disgrace of a paper

I should have known no Busselton Trots form for tonight but all the above aforementioned outer Eastern states gallops all there.
Fair dinkum calling itself "The West Australian" is a pisstake surely!

Just 3 full pages in total for Singing Syrup today....plus a full page for a Mercedes, right in my price range and a couple of half pages for Audi and Lexus.
Half page Pacing Cup advert was much bigger than Ernie's article  on the cup featuring John Of Arc....can he possibly win?

Knew some people who were in his punters club a few times...each occasion recorded a tidy profit. Not easy to do. Paid for their night out they were rapt. ( Should have joined myself but might have jinxed it! )

Think he had a run in from someone from WATA or something similar, falling out somewhere anyhow. Was fantastic with the info he put out and really was a great advertisment for the WA industry because he was showing as a punter it was possible to win. The punters club did well when he was the man in charge.

Eeew Bomber, pulled the wrong rein ....very tough for a mare who has not had a lot of experience against open class to take on this slick bunch of 4 year olds....connections were brimming with misplaced confidence I think.

With the punters club coming to think of it , they ran it over a period of time and and then split the money up but I remember some people talking about it and how well Russell Betts had done and they were happy with the profit they got back.

He knew his stuff did Russell Betts Riders.
Would love to know who or what upset him at the WATA as it is a shame to lose someone with his knowledge from the industry.

Another illuminating offering this morning from Giddyup. I have very limited knowledge of WA Racing form these days......and after reading that bilge, even less so. They should deliver a bag of onions and white sauce when the West is delivered....to go with the tripe!!!

That tab form edition on Friday is basically all giddyup. Liked looking at the gear changes going on around the place ( important ) but couldn't find them. Must have been given the heave ho too.

When you go into a tab page one of the main screen on the terminals...2 vital things missing that you want to see immediately - jockey/barrier draw. The screen shows neither. Navigate to other pages and you will find them but wouldn't you think they would be on the main screen ? As far as the fields they put up in the Tab around the walls - so pathetic - don't bother.

The gear changes are there Riders...just under Ernies selections....and Trent Cooper's form guide is good reading but the rest of it is garbage.

No fields or anything for Northam tonight which is featuring the Northam Cup and the Village Kid Sprint.
Fish and chip wrapper might be too kind a term for that disgrace as that is at least useful unlike the so called "The West".

One thing you have to give thw WA  Trotting Organisation credit for are the comments re on the AHA web site form guides - the other states dont have form comments

And i find the WA ones pretty good - you now they will even say - warmed up at Byford trials  with a finish of such and such - and the mile rate etc - and they get the form guide info up pronto - some times within an hour or 2 of the fields  being released

I would say providing that info would encourage punters to bet - and that  is the name of the game - Turnover

9 races at Northam tonight, pretty decent Cup field and Village Kid race, an 11k "encourage race", paying out about 100k in stakes overall .....and the West doesn't even acknowledge. I feel a letter to the Sports Editor....would they still have one...coming up.
