    Why the hell can't Perth racing or whatever they call themselves run their races on time?

    They are an absolute joke. race 2 was 2 minutes late, and if it wasn't Perth Cup day, it would have been flicked by Sky 1 over to Sky 2.

    I wonder how much that costs them in turnover when it happens, and it happens a lot.

    Comfortable crowd on track, be surprised at the number, I'm sure it will be inflated but real at 10,000. Looks like not many took the free tickets offered on email this morning.

    Carocapo was very good today.

    Rarely try to jock comment but gee, be a little more prominent and then look for an unhindered run 3-4 lanes out surely.

    Was listening on the radio and had something EW on Smoko then. DMac called him out of the placing but then the presenter on TAB Radio called him 3rd straight away.

    Was he clearly 3rd? Another one of DMac classics of messing up 3rd?

    Wow that was a joke of a ride on Volkoff. Fair enough the fence is a fast lane but to go back into that traffic is crazy. She has the best sprint in that field easily and all he had to do was pull wide and let her go absolute idiot.

    Regardless of what he tips in - and yep he thoroughly deserves it - is the Peters juggernaut stifling any new participants into the Sport?
    Or is it an enticing factor?
    Owners Only should have a non-peters race day, now that's an enticement for horse ownership
