I am too embarrassed to repeat my shocking earlier suggestions. I am subscriber to the 'after they have won a motza, any name sounds fantastic" but if they go busted arse, the name was the problem. I mean how bad a name is Horlicks - absolutely awful but it wins a McKinnon Stakes and a Japan Cup and its suddenly a brilliant name....dunno how it ever got through the naming process.

Horlicks is a hot malt drink and was accepted as that rather than a 'lady of the night' deed.

I am happy to admit slip, that i had had more than one beverage when i complied that list of gibber. But yes
Aviemore is a bit special and i was still there this time last week, We flew back Tuesday. Plenty of powder the first day but then 6 days of 100-120 mph winds shut the mountain down. We did get plenty of snowtime on monday though. I did enjoy a pint on tennents at the cairngorm hotel so not such a bad week.

I dont even know if any of those names mean anything to the horses but one might impress the judge.

"Beach Scene"......is available and can apply to both sides of the breeding. Interestingly, "Harrison" is available in 2015. The exquisite miss on the beach is actress Linda Harrison who played "Nova" (which isn't available until 2027).

Dylan Thomas x La Bolero

This one had me thinking of the equestrian exploits of Bo Derek in the film Bolero. It was fun researching it (you've got to love the internet) but the material I came up with might not be appropriate.

I'll go with:

"Poetry On Ice"

Obviously Dylan Thomas was a famous poet and a little less obvious is that Bolero was the music that accompanied Torvill and Dean to their "perfect" Gold Medal routine at the 1984 Winter Olympics.

For the curious ones, had I have gone with "Ode To Bo" or Bo's Bolero, I would have posted this picture. It really is a beautiful looking horse ;)

p.s I thought it best to crop myself out of the photo. I was just about to high five Bo but I'd prefer to keep my anonymity.
