    Cheers all spudley was only joking mate tounge and cheek like most of my comments here.Shovhog well I thought the same as u Fawkner had a gubuster last start needed 3 weeks to get over it so I could not have it only left 1 horse as the cc figures of the fav were terrible I would have taken horse home.Sadly I am not surprised it broke down and died figures always tell a story if u know how to read them right context.

    Just went and read Facebook RSPCA WA ......Ian Albuino fighting the good fight against a mountain of zealots from the Rent A Protest Club. Ignorant, ill informed and impossible to reason with.....one claiming that Racehorses are not rested, fed or watered in between races in order to not weigh them down....not kidding, that is what you are dealing with.

    Channel Seven reported to millions this morning, that many of the runners would have arrived on course prior to 8AM but others would leave it to the last minute.

    Some pretty passionate and touching (no homo intended) tweets by these group of people, some saying they refuse to bet on the race, this should be the end of Australian racing etc etc.....

    Very confusing as far as turnover from what I read on Racenet tote figures are down 2% or similar on the day then states elsewhere that fixed odds betting is well up so combined?
    That doesnt include corporate bookie figures which would be interesting reading so overall down 2% is a huge result I reckon.
