Tell you what lets have a I HATE PR DAY at the track

Damo would be first on track wonder how many would go to that day not many cos must aren't whining old Sheila's bitching an moaning about WA racing

Be positive an positive things happen opening the main bar to 9 pm on race days now is great you can have a beer after the races bet on ES an Asia an its more revenue for the club well done PR

I had a heap to wrote in reply...but why waste my time!!!!

It costs more to entice new members to the club...Once they get there their enthusiasim is great....Lets see what tune PT is singing in 3 years...When the clubs focus is on the new memebers still...

Long time since you been a new member Falc...This time in when i became a new member(about 4 years ago)they throw everything at you in the first year.....compared to how they treat you ever year there after anyway...

What happened was I had one of the best days at the races for ages on an off the track Belmont looked the best I have seen it in many years jocks after the races said it was superb

I am not a new member been one for 3 years but was at the function as a guest of a new member got to say it was well run very enjoyable excellent service food an drink aplenty the viewing sound system on there perfect

I let some committee guys know my issues an they listened an agreed that something has to be done in a lot of areas but priority is Ascot in reality
The free 25 dollar voucher went to good use on military might all in all a damn good day of racing

The committee were very welcoming to the new members an sincere in asking for feedback it was a top function extremely well run credit where it is due rather elitist in some respects an I raised why tables remain empty along the window at Belmont when after race 2 people could not get a seat in the main members area

There are many ills but if they were trying to encourage new members they did very well yesterday but agree all members need attention

The stand seems to be getting worse at Belmont loved the black n white CRT monitors in the public areas of the grandstand mid tier lol

Food is much better at Belmont champers an a stubbie 13 bucks in the members before the function can't get that I'm any bar in the city hardly

The new initiative of the main bad been open to 9pm on race days now is fantastic a chance to reflect on the races with friends involved an have a crack at Asia

Lights at Belmont were a big topic for wed racing in the future

Some very smart men on that committee with a wealth of knowledge don't sell them too short WA racing will be around for many many years to come but does need sweeping change stake money is one enticing punters to the track especially our Asian friends is another

Il sign up again as a member as I'm a member of the ATC MRC VRC I support racing clubs who put on the show I love to watch its that simple

The Group horse had a cardiac arrhythmia, was in Melb for the weekend and just watched the replays, good thing beat = Black Romeo

PT, Thanks for the positive comments from Belmont Opening Day. It is great to see someone giving a positive post on here instead of bagging PR day after day. I was there and I agree with you the track looked great the extra roses around the place looked good and the atmosphere was great. I think to many people live in the past and want that to return, guess what it isn't!! Randwick have spent over 150Mil and they only got 25,000 to one of their major race days!! What needs to happen is to give punters and patrons something different, maybe live music(Bands) between races, pub atmosphere in places, more fixed price betting areas, pool tables, BBQ areas etc. There is a lot that can be done but the big thing that stands out is MONEY!!

No worries maybe we can have a PTT meet up day on Italian day on May 17 sorry damo an Andrew it will be for positive cherry people only who like going to the races an supporting the club

Gee doesnt Thompson go through trainers I read Millers got a few of his horses now ,Harro,Andrews,D Mac I think ,Morton now Miller ,gee they tell me [Craig Thompson] is a ripper of a bloke NOT !!!
