He will be fine, good fella

I do not agree. He has done the same crime before and in Melbourne  the trainer of HAPPY TRAILS was banned for 6 months for the same crime at his first time with only a mark on his horses neck and no drug detecting.

nothings been proven here and probably wont be....but one question i always have is WHY DO IT????? it annoys the crap out of me that a handful of idiots want to threaten our industry like this.

i'd be really pissed off if i ever found a trainer/stable trying to get an unfair advantage with one of mine

Maybe not trying to get an advantage but keep the playing field level, I think you would be hard pressed to find a trainer that at some stage in he's/her career has not broken the rules in regard to treatments.

Terrible thing to admit TB but your probably right..In that case why don't the trainers that are trying to catch up let the stewards in on their suspicions of the ones that they are trying to catch up too??? i'll answer that myself and suggest it is due to not having a separate integrity unit that they can approach and trust that their suspicions will be treated in confidence.

Its not dissimilar to the bookies squealing about how they are losing clientele and cant make money, But as soon as one of their own comes up with a new theory the rest jump on him and hold him back from progressing their new ideas.. They are their own worst enemy...

Maybe the good trainers trying to do the right thing, are probably lacking the confidence to go forward and protect the industry as they cant trust the managers of the industry to be confidential with their suspicions..

Anyway, its been like it - or worse - for as long as the industry has been around. A lot of people therefore see that as justification to accept some level of corruption...

I could just go on and on and on about this look at Lance Armstong stripped of 7 TDF's because of drugs but did they give the wins to the second place getter?????..... No because that would open up another whole can of worms!!!!

That, and I think they found 7 or 8 of the next top ten in finishing order guilty of drugs between the time of the race, and his guilty finding.
