    It must have been a tough decision for Peter K in jumping off Testamezzo to ride Miss Rose De Lago on Saturday. I haven't seen M.R.D.L's race replay but Knucks must rate her very highly to be jumping off a horse who is 3 from 3 and possibly going places. Glenn Smith would be all :)'s I would imagine after getting a pick up ride like this.

    I hope she does win for the sake of her trainer Ice because Bernie is a fellow Roos supporter ;)

    But she doesn't meet B.T.A.W any better on weight terms, so I'd think he will be starting as the favourite when the gates spring back.

    No point in not tipping/putting a horse out there if you think its going to win, as ive noticed in the past one persons tip or quote doesnt change the price.

    Back to a walk would have progressed from his last run, step up in journey helps. He will win this. Might be close, but i think i know what his Grand final is.

    early selections/thoughts

    1-from memory, they knocked galaxy prince off 2nd up last prep, will pay to watch the tote but a solid e/w to start the day none the less.
    next couple of races are tough,
    2-portonian and strictly boardroom's trials are ok, but nothing special, on the ropes/outlaw blues/zucceros all racing well, rubin sky could be a sneaky chance...
    3-nova joe could be a chance in the 3rd, but anything from #6 down (inc. the blues) will be hard to hold out
    5-cant tip against smoko, baleen in me will give it a fright at the top of the straight as it kicks clear though. Flying heritage & the puzzler rough chances for exotics
    6-hopefully emily mia and wink and a nod jump out this time, celebrity miss was a good trial, orastario the only slight danger to those 3
    7-luck's luck will be storming home & will make a statement moving towards the railway stakes again.
    8-arcadia rose will be hard to beat and is the obvious double with smoko, testamezzo will be storming home again, vital importance trialed pretty well behind barakey e/w at value in a wide race outside the obvious.

    There's ten minutes between the Caulfield Cup and Smoko's race. My tip is that if Hawkspur wins, Waller will still be crying  by the time Smoko is in the barriers :((

    Smoke that was impressive pleassssse go to the WInterbottom it's his to lose what a horse I had my doubts but with no trial that was huge

    Smoko is a serious horse - I reckon he will go to the Winterbottom.

    Still believe Elite Belle has been the Stand Out today so far !!!!!
