couple of huge plunges on the day that have been overlooked (somewhat) due to the other controversy.

Roman Knows $7 to $2.80 apparently
    Comfysofa $4.40 to $1.80.

Seems there was an incredible amount of confidence around these two.

RK ---blinkers on HUGE and HUGE jockey change with bullet off.
COMFY --- just unlimited money even at odds on on betfair... you could have laid it for anything at all...
they knew it could sit 3 or 4 wide and bolt up and that is very very rare.
Having said that given the stable record after landing a plonk it may well be one to bet against next start.

What happened to Careys thread--it reads closed?

Simon Miller on radio this morning admitted that they had a "very good go" at Comfysofa.

Roman paid $4win $1.70 place was a big drop I was hoping he would stay at $7
Belief was if he tried he would win but we weren't sure if he would
    Very Happy that he did

he definitely is, I would always want my horses with him. There was just concern that Roman wasn't going to deliver on race day what he does when training. Believe me we are all very happy and relieved, Simon included

Yes agree falcon--- but 100 percent sure that if they drift late on cheatfair you do not want to be on them...

i think i am going to take your advice bobby.

the stench emanating out of wa starts with integrity, although that's not the word i would use.

today is a day too far.

who actually runs racing in wa???

the stewards that didn't see a reason to fine Ben Pearce for late notification of the rider in this fiasco.....also found it was now appropriate to fine another trainer who notified them well before race day...but still coped a fine!!!

These inconsistencies are part of the management process of this industry... ~X( :-<

FINE: Race 7. Trainer Ms Kellie Kersley $100 LR.85(a) for failing to name a rider by the prescribed time on COSTA BROM.
