Heart says Quinny, head says Quinny. probably shouldnt touch him at that price in such a hot field but that wont stop me. The barrier draw has made the race for him. Cant see how theyll beat him, like the article says, if they go slow he'll be within striking distance and if they go too fast up front he'll sit back, smoke the pipe and put them to the sword in the back straight. Go QUINNY!

i'll be there, first visit to gp in about 20 yrs...first time i wore long strides...
been conned into a function..did my head in at $217 a head..
looks like i have a LOT of drinking to do.
will have a dabble at the q/tet leading with quinny..won't pay much whatever runs behind him as there will be loads of fields at $56 a full unit.
    should be a fantastic night!!!

The turn of foot Quinny has reminds me of my favourite ever pacer (apart from when he double-barreled me) Black Irish

Great win and the run of the first three were awesome.

    WA trifecta!

Hope falcon had that $56 quartet on (although pretty sure ITMQ - FLD - FLD - FLD quartet would have been $336 (trifecta would have been $56)

Either way they both paid big prices $669 and $3395 respectively!

Black Irish. That brings back memories.
I can say that ive been behind him a few times when Ernie Denham had him. I'm really showing my age now.
A shark thought he looked like a future meal once, down at the Koombana Beach in Bunbury.

Regarding tonight, it was a huge run from Quinny, as the track was very biased towards the leaders.

What was he thinking going 3 wide at the bell after that. Why wouldn't he jump on the "Quinns" back, and hopefully get a cart up if the poor old horse had any juice left and maybe just maybe run in the first 4.

The comperes on Sky said before the race, if Smoken Up wins the opinions will be the horse, if it gets beat the opinions will be the Driver, in the end it was just plain facts.

I think I read in the paper during the week that Justice changed the type of spider used last night, went from a new style to a old one.

Guess what, stewards report said that Smokin Up struck the spider with his hind leg, hung in and galloped :!:

Regardless, Quinny is a magnificent horse, with a sprint very rarely seen. A very deserving winner.

Well done to the DeCampo camp on Lombo Navigator running third, good to see the SW people flying the flag. Nice place odds too...
