In case you didn't see this article yesterday.

I'd love to see this great horse back on the race track just to see if he still has what it takes to be competitive.

    He might be 8 years old, but most 3 year olds have had 14 starts. The owners would not put any undue pressure on El Presidente, but he is too good to spend the rest of his time in a paddock, as he has proven to be such a good horse.
    Did not Fields of Omagh come back from a bowed tendon and win the Cox Plate as a 9 year old? And Super Impose was 8 when he won a Cox Plate. These are quoted for emphasising a point, not suggesting The Pres is in that class- yet. :roll:

    I agree falc this horse has nothing to prove hes done a fantastic job for conections , i just think hes had two tendon injuries let him be its only greed there having another crack with him imo , if he was mine he would be retired end of story

    What a treat it must be to own those two......Good luck that they both hold together..Myself, I'd be sending Rose off to the breeding barn...her own record is 2wins from 2 starts...and a half sister to The Pres.. 8)

    The pink (cerise ) will be flying at Bunbury on Sunday. ROSE is in race 5 and seems to have scared off the opposition .

    been waiting for Rose for a very long time... too long... not exactly ideal conditions to be backing a horse 1st up off a long injury layoff though :(
