    As an observer of the first race, would love to know why SOD went back to the fence on the fav when he had cover 1 off. Wouldn't be happy if the money was on.

    Horse is looking for further then 1100 was obvious the way he worked to the line in the MM the fact he was $1.90 fav over the same distance was amazing to say the least !

    did any of you watch the race, it got stood on its head when the leader rolled back after the cut away,

    Do Ya Best gets me out of jail but nooooo, Wizards Point lobs for the first time in 1180 days! FFS, I can't take a trick.

    Im a fan of Knucks but that was a 1 out of 10 ride on the fave dead set got lost was sitting pretty 5th 1 of the fence then went in looking for runs then had a brain fade fair dinkum Had a good all up running from Rock Band !!!!oh well

    I just checked and found that the trainer hadn't trained a winner for 1180 days either. Fair dinkum, I wasn't meant to win today :x

    Im with PB got stood on his head half way down the straight till then it was jogging Thought it was a prick of a ride myself how do you get lost when there is a cutaway ???Not one of Dongas best im sure he put his hand up after that its a good animal i reckon just a pilot error again probably should have won today and last start

    don't begrudge bill godeke a win.
    some yrs ago he inspected a couple of yearlings at a sa stud.
    he opted for the most expensive one..i forget its name but wasn't worth a cracker.
    the other one turned out to be mummify!!
    racing stories like that abound....
