    To re hash our old mate Falcons issue how on hell can Phone man Edwards still be training its FARRRKEN June in 2 weeks time wasnt the problem back to Jan ???

    Not sure why Pikey doesn't go forward in that. Cohort lost touch when they sprinted. Solid effort. Excellent ride by Grantham to go forward on the toppie.

    I will tell you why because the connections wanted to see if RD could get over a longer trip like her half Col Correct so going fwd was never going to run a mile going from 1200m the start before

    Can understand that but felt its best chance today was to go forward as the pace was never going to be hot. Thought it ran well considering. I went back through all its videos this morning and the day she won over 1400m (albeit in a lot lesser grade) she sat outisde the leader, they walked and she kicked clear. Pity I don't know em otherwise I could've given em a ring ;-)

    Great spectacle of a race that, pace on field spread and every runner getting a chance. Maybe I'm just used to watching the junk put on at Ascot.

    The only way WS could have lost today is if he either broke down or whoever was sitting on him fell off.

    And to get $4.70 about him on BF ffs

    I gt matched at 4.60 and texted a mate and said now as long as he doesnt fall off, dinners tonights on me, as I just stole it.

    I still don't think he would have won to be honest. Premardal has beaten WS before receiving far less weight than she was getting today, and Power Princess went straight past her. Ws at WFA will be a different story, though, if he doesn't have any serios issues with his hooves. bar shoes on today worries me, though.

    Waratah's stumble looked pretty bad. Quartered his heel and an abrasion. Possibly back to the paddock? Robbed the race of some excitement....but gee Power Princess was amazing.

    His three runners finished last, 2nd last and 3rd last.
