Terrific to see 3 x 2400m heats.....yes, heats, not preludes, heats...... run tonight for the final of the NSW Derby, what a novel innovative idea that could possibly provide a thing called a "build up" to the final. Who would ever have thunk of that?
Heat 1 went to Perfect Stride who is Chicago Bulls full brother and Heat was won by Pacifico Dream out of Mint Julep, daughter of star mare Jadah Rose, mother of both Guaranteed and Jadahson, so a lot of breeding and performance there. Heat 3 was won by super classy Governor Jujon, so a great $200k final coming up next week on Miracle Mile night.
