Just bypassing Belmont Wednesday for the moment to have a look at Northam on the horse's birthday - August 1st.
The race that interests is race 6 - yes he's back and it's now time for some reverse psychology - Diplomat Express you have no chance - a one paced battler - and you won't run a place!

Hopefully that's revved him up. Whilst Pikey's mount probably looks the one to beat - I'm going into the wallet one last time 8-|
Also thought the mare Plead The Fifth was getting home well late last week at Belmont. With a strong pace up front she's got a win in her.

It's along time until Northam Thursday but in a nutshell they've got me again - Diplomat Express & Plead The Fifth.

    Last time looked Diplomat Express just $6.50 on Tabtouch cough cough.
    Plead The Fifth $15.

    Agree Pikey will be hard to beat but one at odds is Crosley Hotshot!
    3 starts ago (albeit 3200mtrs)  came home in the last 600 as quick as Come Play With Me when 4th to 3 $440,000+ stake earners!
    Last start forget when wide the whole way with Newman on!

    Looks like Pike versus a very even bunch. Their all hopeless! Including the fave haha.

    Crossley Hotshot yep another with a hope. They'll all be going up and down on the one spot at the furlong. Noticed Ash Maley has one in the race too. A trainer in form.

    The fav should be way too good in the next. 

    One I reckon might run a race in the same race and is well over the odds at $91+ is Haystacks with Chris Parnham on board. Nice enough trial and listed as gelded.

    Great to see Kate Southam get a winner at Northam,one thing about Simon Miller he shsres them around,but i guess why wouldnt you when you are getting 2kg-3kg apprentice allowance.

    Can it run 2200m quick enough? I hate this horse with a passion. Cost me the quaddy when it fell in to beat Crystal Valley  b-(

    Haven't seen the race but read the results and see Diplomat ran 3rd and Plead The Fitfth 4th - surprisingly no replay up on Tabtouch for the moment....hope they weren't certainty beats!

    Something tells me no - but am keen to see the replay. Let me see - am guessing Diplomat Express one batted down the straight to run 3rd but never going to win ?

    Plead The Fifth running on late to get 4th ?
    Yep looking forward to seeing the race. Hope it wasn't a nose , by a nose , by a nose - like wise i doubt it!

    I read that rider of Thisaway requested a vet check before the race and then was passed fit, only to break down and be euthanased.

    Not a good look I thought
