I was at the Grand Final. Great day. Not so good for neutral fans though...too one-sided.

Back to Perth today. Long day ahead...Perth to Brisbane then a 1 hour 35 minute drop over and then Brisbane to Perth. It was cheaper this way by $150.

    Go Tigers. YELLOW AND BLACK.

I think I would have passed on the $150.00 saving and taken the short way home.
Unless your coming back business (which obviously your not) then no worries just keep bringing me drinks.
I can't stand being cooped up in economy on any flight longer than Perth to Gero.

I love aviation. Flying is always a pleasure for me.

As long as you get the A330 BNE - PER.
One a day, but the only one I’d take.

    Kelly Deal.

Gaff to North Melbourne for pick 8 this year, and second round pick next year.

Kelly to Eagles for picks 8 and 14 this year, plus Hamish Brayshaw. Had a solid year after knee troubles last year, and shoudl be looking for more opportunities than he'll get at the Weagles.

    Sounds fair to me ;-)

Eagles prepared to get Kelly for their first two draft picks this year and next years first pick.
Openly admit that they are in the premiership window and expect to be challenging next year.
Fremantle going after Chris Masten and coach says sustained success ie winning seasons is their priority.
Reckon I would take the premiership myself. =)) =))
  • First two draft pics this year and next years first pic. All for a bloke that was sitting under their nose for 5 years that they could have got for nothing.

    Good business that.

Eagles won a premiership without him and now we will win a premiership with him.
Geelong got him in 2017 with pick 24. We were going to take him at pick 26. We missed out and got Liam Ryan as a consolation in his place. You know Liam ? He took the big hanger in the last big play of the game to win us the flag.
So by my calculations we got a premiership player plus now we have Kelly.
In the same draft Fremantle picked Brayshaw and Cerra when they could have got Kelly.
Now NSS, that is good business. Haha =)) =)) =))

Actually you were going to take Kelly with pick 21 but Oscar Allen was still there so you chose him instead after taking Jarrod Brander with pick 13 . It was pretty well known Geelong was into Kelly so it's no surprise they took him with pick 24. Eagles had their chances.

I don't know what Brayshaw and Cerra have to do with anything especially if you're trying to compare them to Kelly. Kelly's 25. Cerra only turned 20 a few days ago and Brayshaw's still 19.

Cerra had 30 disposals in his 11th game of AFL as an 18 year old coming off a limited pre-season in his first year. Brayshaw's racked up 20 or more disposals in 8 games this year. I would of thought both of them have quite a bit of development left in them. Let's just see how they're tracking when they're Kelly's age.

i cant understand you blokes seriously every club in the comp had there chance to take him, so if you are going to  bag one club for not picking him up  bag your own club as well, unless you are a cats fan

    Pick blah blah blah.
Outside of picks 1 and 2 this year, not a lot of noise about the rest.
So I am excited about seeing Tim Kelly roving to Nic Nat.
We will be contending in 2020 which I am also excited about.
Our pick 14 could have snagged ????? someone who may come good in 2023 ?
I am living for the moment.
You Freo supporters can enjoy Brayshaw Cerra Hogan and Lobb. \:D/

The point being made is that you are now selling the farm to get him when you could have had him for nothing. as could all other clubs.

Selling the farm to me is giving up Nic Nat and Elliott Yeo to get Kelly.
Last time I checked we still have them.......and Kelly.

So someone has signed a "contract" , have they? Well, whoop de doo!  What a load of first world bullshite "contracts" are in AFL (and probably most other franchisee sports)....I refuse to call them Clubs, they ceased being "clubs" decades ago, absolutely totally meaningless, and the AFL and the franchisee's directly insult all and sundry when they proudly announce that a coach or a player or a water carrier  has signed a "contract". Rivals will continue to pilfer the lesser lights playing stocks paying scant regard to "contracts" until a disaffected franchise makes( by legal means) a player or coach fulfill their very well reimbursed obligations to see out their contractual obligations, without trotting out modern day incarnations of resilience loss ...such as "homesick", or "personal reasons" or "family reasons" or missing my cat or any other of the tripe that they regularly trot out to avoid having to "suck it up" and get on with overcoming humps in the road. (excusing the Kelly fellow who has child autism issues to deal with). It's called life but so many of these indulged little kiddies have had all manner of people laying down baby bum smooth hotmix for them to traverse through their very comfortable pampered childhoods.
In general terms, the AFL and its franchisees can go and rotate until there is some degree of transparency and spine shown in running what is in my mind a fabricated, uneven and meaningless competition. I have long progressed from a diehard fan to a very casual observer and avoider of the truckloads of spin and and horseshite than emanates from "City Hall".

Players opting out of contracts and changing clubs is one part of it which can be distasteful particularly if your club is being disadvantaged for sure.
But a player signs a contract to assure his future as well. If he gets injured and is coming out of contract then the club are not obligated to re sign him. Leaving the player without an income. There are plenty of fringe players that stay put and are happy to put pen to paper and see out there contract.
If I was a Dockers supporter the Hill scenario would be hard to swallow.

The only people who think Freo are keen on Chris Masten is Chris Masten and a few of The West Australian loving West Coast supporters.

It's a bit like Ballantyne thinking he's going to west coast hence him not being part of and of the retiring players events.

Idiots, if we get a half decent run with injuries next year, nobody will get close to us.
