Has anyone had success with progeny bred on a 20/20 basis?
Question is do I go with the scenic line which when x'ed with my mare is 20/20 or the storm cat line knowing that she has produced a city winner with this cross?

if it was me i'ld go with whats worked not what may work depends on how old the mare is and your own personal preference will always win regardless what program or anyone says

will be her third mating, she is 12. First foal winner of 225k so far, 4yo, second foal 9mths looks athletic and is a 20/20 mating but who knows! Hobby breeder so interested to hear if anyone has had success with the 20/20 matings

The 20/20 matings you refer to are not the correct way to use that software. You need to download the full program otherwise you will only be getting the number of occurrences that repeat through a lifetime breeding analysis. Contact G1 Goldmine directly via their website at:

A number of studs have access to it on their website and you can enter your mare and choose the stallions, are these not reliable?

Just for illustration purposes, send me your mares details and a couple of the stallions that you like the look of, and I will send you the sort of report that comes from G1. It will definitely give you a different perspective

I've not had one yet that wasn't 20/20 on the free version.
