R1. Racing Radio Maiden - Gary Wright
Very difficult here with no race form exposed, only two of these runners have started in a race before. Trainer Daniel Pearce appears to hold a good hand here with Testamezzo and Captain Hughes, both have good trial form to their credit. Testamezzo did defeat Captain Hughes in a trial a week ago here at Pinjarra, so we will select him on top of the stablemate today. Another who won a trial here last week is Spin Da Wheels, looks set for a forward showing in this race today, with possibly Butterfly Kiss the best of the rest due to drawing pole position, but not a race to get overly excited about as a betting proposition.

A tough race once again here, maybe the Adam Durrant trained Cracker Man will go pretty well, and could be worth a ticket each way. His first race start he finished not too far behind the winner, and he steps straight up to 1600 metres today, the trainer no doubt thinks he is up to running the mile at only his second start. Hasnt drawn well but the long straight run from the barriers here probably negates that problem. There are a few here that just dont seem to want to break through for a maiden victory, they have had plenty of chances. Ruben Zoom has been placed in three of eight starts, but Bar Lover and Master Mcrae have had 39 starts between them and still are yet to salute the judge, all of those three place chances again here as they can run some good races without winning. The other main chance appears to be Ellie's Grey, she has run some promising races of late.
5. CRACKER MAN(NZ) - 3. RUBEN ZOOM - 9. ELLIE'S GREY

If The Slipperfits looks to have been working up to a win, she gets her chance this afternoon. Her first up run here two weeks ago was very good, coming home well for third that day after blundering the start, today she starts from barrier five and should hopefully land in a good posse in running, and go very close to winning this race. She ran a place when racing second up last time in work, there are a few pointers to like about this filly today. An interesting runner is the newcomer Arabian Thief, he is a dual trial winner, and also well drawn for a good effort at his first start today, he hails from the strong Morton stable. Jolly Moss, well what do you say, has been tipped in this column and by numerous tipsters numerous times, have finally given up tipping him to win after not breaking through last week when an odds on favorite, still a place chance as is Misty Mak, this is a pretty good maiden race.
8. IF THE SLIPPERFITS - 7. ARABIAN THIEF(NZ) - 1. JOLLY MOSS
SUGGESTED BET - 8. IF THE SLIPPERFITS $20 x $20
A good barrier draw may hold the key to Glacial Energy breaking through this afternoon. He has drawn very poorly the last couple of outings and still run good races, today he should find himself in the leading division without too much trouble from a good draw, possibly into barrier five if the emergencies dont get a start. Jarrad Noske is riding as well as anyone at present and may land himself another winner here. Due Warning raced quite well last campaign, and finished second to Arabian Thief in a recent trial, he will only carry 55kgs for his return, will need some luck as has drawn a little wide but might go well first up here. Crystal Brook ran some good trials before a disappointing debut here two weeks ago, but should improve today and Express It To Me may also improve on her first up run at Bunbury in February, she has drawn very nicely here.
2. GLACIAL ENERGY - 1. DUE WARNING - 8. CRYSTAL BROOK
SUGGESTED BET - 2. GLACIAL ENERGY $25 x $25
Not a lot of race form exposed here, there are probably a few promising gallopers to go round in this but we are really going on spec. Fiddlers Elbow has been produced three times in trials for three wins, he looks to have quite a bit of ability, but the wide barrier doesnt help for his first race start, although he will come in to barrier twelve in all probability. Still look for a good showing this afternoon. Aloha Miss will no doubt improve on a pretty good sixth at her first race start at this track down the straight course, she looks one of the main chances here. Zonte is another who should improve today, she comes out of the same race as Aloha Miss, and maybe My Boy Clive at each way odds could be one for a small investement, has run some good races in the past, placed first up previously and drawn nicely.
1. FIDDLERS ELBOW - 7. ALOHA MISS - 12. ZONTE
Keep On Dancin is certainly more suited here than at her last start behind Hussy By Choice when resuming at Belmont on opening day, she did win second up during her previous campaign and must go very close this afternoon. She has certainly got good form over the straight course here at Pinjarra and looks one of the very good chances in this race today. Flying Lord raced well when last in work, hasnt got first up form to recommend him but has got good Pinjarra form, he looks a chance in this race also. Ellay Cee Belle has been placed at both her race starts so should also go well in this, and Steel Vine won his maiden here at the last Pinjarra meeting over this course, this is a pretty good class one race.
5. KEEP ON DANCIN' - 1. FLYING TIME - 9. ELLAY CEE BELLE
SUGGESTED BET - 5. KEEP ON DANCIN' $25 x $25
This looks a good race with Willow Bridge and Lucky Hazel the major chances. Willow Bridge returned to form last week when a good winner over 1600 metres, he rises a fair bit in distance today so there is a possible query there, however he does look a good type in the making and we will back him to go on with things today. He should posse up nicely from a good draw, and once again Chris Parnham is on board and brings the weight down to a more respectable 58kgs. Lucky Hazel has been racing in terrific form following on from her maiden win with another victory here over this distance, so we know she will go well today. They appear the best two, the other place chances look to be the likely leader in Rivimac, he will probably bowl along in front today, and Rock Bar the other that may run pretty well here, he struggles to win but can be around the place at times.
2. WILLOW BRIDGE - 5. LUCKY HAZEL - 1. RIVIMAC
SUGGESTED BET - 2. WILLOW BRIDGE $60
Young Jerry Noske hops aboard Buster's Courage today and brings the weight down to a postage stamp, I would expect from a good draw that this horse will go straight to the lead and give them something to catch. He missed the start at his last run at Northam and raced wide and still finished within 2 lengths of Seattle Beau, so lost no friends with that performance. If stepping today as he normally does he does look a big chance in this race with that weight differential. Iconoclast has proven to be a good perfomer, five wins from fifteen starts is testament to that. He resumes here this afternoon and must be respected. El Rijes is an interesting runner, has shown ability in the past, and has in fact won a listed race, but his form is very inconsistent, at his best he would be a big chance here, and Lady Ladette rounds out the main chances, she is quite the opposite to El Rijes, a quite consistent mare.
6. BUSTER'S COURAGE - 1. ICONOCLAST - 4. EL RIJES

Ebony Buzz returns from a short let up today and brings good form in these type of races into her return assignment, she will probably improve over longer distances as she goes through this campaign, but I do expect her to be hard to beat today. Her unplaced runs have been in much stronger company, this isn't an overly strong race and she looks suited here. Her main dangers have drawn poorly and may have to do some work in running. Wizards Point likes to race close to the lead and may try and do so today, but could use up a fair bit of petrol in trying to do so, as may the last start winner Surpark, he has drawn the extreme outside gate here. The Pupster has been finishing just behind the placegetters of late and may be another for novelties in this last race today.
7. EBONY BUZZ - 1. WIZARDS POINT - 10. THE PUPSTER
SUGGESTED BET - 7. EBONY BUZZ $25 x $25
dont like too much today....two roughies both e/w and may have a $10 place allup only Zonte in the 5th(due to its sire) and String of Smiles in the 6th.
Will be keeping an eye on here for any tips...

Welli wish i coudl say it was the only bet i had all day, cos it woud have been a good winning one..However i had Zonte straight out, Oh Blitz straight out, Jolly Moss straight out... and cos of that many places on SoS..think i will stop now cos it can only go one way!!!!
Oh and i also did no form past this race..Altho i could just pick a jockey to follow in the last 2 or 3 races...
