With 9 runners finishing in the money at their last start it is another very evenly graded race and one which many will struggle to narrow down in the final quaddie leg. Could be a very big dividend or a number of very disappointed players. I've settled on Randy Tan to secure his first metro win aboard Mr Mankiki. I think Tan can slide across and find a position outside the leader or in an ideal world in the one out and one back position trots style. Drawn barrier 10 he is obviously a chance at getting caught wide but that's the risk you take riding aggressively. With only 52.5kg on his back I think he is a genuine eachway chance. Already Famous is the safe, fool proof option, finishing in the money at his past 11 starts. Lock him in for a places ticket. Pants on Friar was disappointing last start but can bounce back here without surprising.
