Going with Slick Talker in the weekly Get Out Stakes. Remarkably Slick Talker has drawn barrier 1 for the third start in a row and while it is definitely not my preferred alley Kate Witten showed two starts ago that she is capable of holding the gelding up for long enough to find gaps and then release the handbreak at the vital stages of the race. His short, sharp kick out guns every single rival in this field and as long as he gets away safely and holds a position close to the speed should go very close to making it two wins from his past three. Drive On Ice is a progressive type who looks as though he will relish a step up to 1800m. Big, strong gelding with an over-exaggerated galloping action who looks a stayer in the making. Mr Mankini looked to be looming large at the top of the straight before just peaking on his run after jumping 650m in distance second-up to third up. Back to 1800m here should see him more than competitive. Confusing kept relatively fresh and raced on-speed over this distance has been the key to recent success, must be respected. PTT Quaddie Club Withdrawl: 1,4 / 1,2,7 / 1,2,3,5,7,9 / 2,3,5,11 - $100 = 69%
