Power Punch has come of age this preparation and looks well placed at 54kg from barrier 4 to post an early Saturday victory. Fell on debut which may explain why he stuggled to beat a horse home in his first preparation but now looks full of confidence and capable of taking the next step. Finished a narrow second to Belle La Vie who has now won 3 on the bounce before recording a soft maiden victory last start. This field is far from deep and with a gun hoop in Dan Staeck aboard can guide us home in the Get Out Stakes. Buhn Lert can rattle off some excellent sectionals when given a soft run and is an impressive last start winner while Nitro will appreciate a drop in grade after chasing Temporise and He Or She home recently. Shalo won't get it easy out in front drawn to the outside of noted speedsters Alvares and Danzmait who will ensure this is run at a solid clip.
