Galoubay was forced to drag back to last first up when drawing barrier 16, hit the line with gusto and finished second. He has drawn another pearler in barrier 17 for this and will again start with one hoof in the Swan River. Will end up back in the field again and I'm happy to keep the faith and be on board at eachway odds. Traded Halo was widely tipped first up at odds and gave his followers a run for their money chasing hard over the somewhat unsuitable 1200m. Steps up to 1400 which is his favourite distance but does hold a second-up record of 3 starts for 0 placings. This is a very tough 'Get Out Stakes' and I'm looking for improvement from Rusty Peaches. Does tend to find an extra leg which he can lead and little Tash Faithful should have no trouble finding the top from barrier 4. Should the leaders be winning on the day then he looks a nice little eachway ticket at $15. Fonzarelli backs up from Wednesday having won with ease, O'Donnell aboard for the first time and he does have a knack for winning on these types of horses first-up in the saddle. Balbowa is capable of hitting the line hard, has trialled since being scratched a fortnight ago in a similar event. Accrual is better than his first up run suggests and he is yet another with blowout hopes. Potentially a field leg of the quaddie and a very good chance for a blow-out winner for the raceday competition.
