Wide in the quad
Going wide in the last leg of the quaddie and hoping to get a result thrown up. Alvares will lead them which should make it quite difficult for one of the main fancies in Key to Fame who takes on the older opponents and has to jump from barrier 13 of 13. Likely to get caught wide on speed, from there he is a sitting duck. Going for some value in the last and putting last years Listed Breeders Classic winner Belle La Vie on top. I thought her second-up effort behind Silverstream over 1200m was full of merit and jumping up to a much more suitable 1500m coming off the back of a hot top end speed puts her right in the race. Should get a decent quote in the double figures and she's worth a spec at odds. Saker was again backed off the charts but in typical fashion notched a 7th career bridesmaid performance from just 12 starts. Should get the run of the race and expect the coin to come for him again. Highly Secret is Bob and Pikey, must include. Quaddie: 1,2,3,6 / 3,4 / 1,4,7 / 1,3,6,7,10,11,12 - $84 = 50%

One thing I've noticed is that Bob had left his old Ksar/Old Spice families behind, something not many would have the balls to do given how succesful they were. Apart from Disposition, I'd reckon not many of his top performers come from that lineage. Might ...

one big stable monopolising like that cannot be good for the sport. I dont know in what other industry that domination by one big player is healthy for the industry as a whole? Despite bob's dominance again yesterday, it was good to see a couple of battle...

One of the rules that Bob and others leaders in the car industry instilled into me, was that if you always do what you have always done, you will only get what you have always got. He doesn't get it always right, he is on a remarkable run of success at the mom...

How many folks will leave the Industry though in the meantime ? I wont leave the industry per say, but i wont be adding anymore horses in the meantime. As i said last week, there is no point. He is winning everything and me with a fixed budget cant compete....

Ol Peters is just killing it and I cannot see Pike riding anything else in Perth Cup. We keep backing against Peters but he is killing it Illuminated

I hope Peters' absolutely dominates for a while. Will force a purge of some of the absolute tripe that breeds here. Spot on
