Quality Clash
Zuccheros is flying and by the end of the day I think many will be saying Durrant is back on top of the WA trainers ranks after a fairly lean few months. 1200m is a perfect distance for him and his last two wins have been simply enormous. Should he settle midfield then he will be very hard to hold out. Wild Stratus was turned sideways first-up when trying to get a clear crack at them. A highly talented galloper when right I think we will be seeing the mare go very, very close here. Hobart Jones was aweful second-up, never given a hope when settling last on a leader bias track and caught in a tonne of traffic. With W.Pike in the saddle he will be given a much better ride if nothing else.
