Ugly Get Out
Definitely not a race I'm keen to play in to finish the day. Romelo makes his WA and Australian Debut for Bob Peters who clearly has too much money after going on a spending spree, recently unveiling purchased imports Presentatie, Dezzies Dream, Point and now Romelo. Surely has a single grand-daughter in need of some loving from a good looking rooster like myself...lovely segway into my tipping because I'm going with The Flirt on top. Thought his run last start behind Universal Law was excellent after finally getting clear late in the straight and attacking the line hard. JT Warwick is in-form as we saw on Wednesday with Material Man and Jetoomy landing considerable sized wagers. Tanjier finished alongside The Flirt last start and can do so again this week. No idea what to make of Romelo so leaving him alone and Gloryland has found a niche at Pinjarra but carries 59kg and will find this a bit tougher I'd suggest. PTT Quaddie: 2,3,4,8 / Fld / 1,11 / 1,3,4,5,7,9,10 - $100 = 16%

They should have got the Antonov to land there. Can you believe 20,000 people turned out to watch a routine landing ? Nothing routine about it!

The Italian nonnas didn't turn up with their home made arancini balls and zeppole. Not much of a turn out by the Italian community. Don't blame them. Just some commercial food stalls. Day lacked character. PR shooting itself in the foot again. NFI.

Anyone on course ? It sounds quiet on radio............... Damien the crowd was ok but I think the Italian day thing was better attended whether they were punters or not. The Italians are a passionate type of people and I think the day should be reinstated ...
