Elite Belle has always showed an abundance of ability with wins ranging from 1200 through to 1800m. Looks set to tackle her first Railway Stakes this preparation and after her devastating final 600m blew away WA Champ Barakey to record a soft first-up victory. Races well second up having never missed the money and won the Group 3 Belmont sprint by 2 lengths last preparation second up over 1400m. Rises a half kilo on her first-up victory and certainly looks extremely hard to hold out. Fuchsia Bandana rose to new heights last start with a highly impressive Northerly Stakes victory, ultra impressive Trade Fair Mare who races handy to the speed and is the logical danger. Platinum Rocker is a 1400m specialist with 5 of her 8 career victories coming at this distance. Her return run in WA after a stint over East was unlucky and highly encouraging, she is a clear third selection. First attempt for Magnifisio at the distance and boasts a incredible 4 wins from 5 second-up attempts.

Was annoyed that I missed getting on the quaddie as you often do, getting sidetracked on course, pretty easy after the first leg and paid nearly 10k.

I missed the $61 Octavius but I wasn't far from it plus handy novelties. Good to see others get a profitable result on the Pop Star.

Disposition the clear standout on the card, the riding on display today was ordinary at best.

I suppose when you look at it @mailman505 there was no incentive for EB to win prior to the weights being released for the Railway. Not a good look at all :-\" You know I actually thought this and ignored it! The only way she wins that race is if he tak...

Normally drawing the rails would be toxic for EB but today it was probably the difference between winning and losing. However, I still think she was a bit off her first up run.
