There should be another top end speed battle with Saxon Saxoff, The Conjurer and Pollonize all free wheeling front running types. This should leave W.Pike with the absolute prime position yet again aboard the undefeated Blackfriars gelding Planets Align. Last start he was given an absolute ripsnorter of a ride by Pike and simply couldn't lose. From that he meets Our Mate Al 1.5kg worse at the weights and I think that the extra furlong will be to the advantage of Our Mate Al who was ripping ground off him late in the race. With all the top end speed I think Our Mate Al from a gun barrier should be able to settle alongside, potentially one set of heels back, from Planets Align and at the eachway quote I'm happy to play with a heavy places bias because anything around even money the drum is theft. Those two clearly in top and probably narrowed down to them in the quaddie leg. Saxon Saxoff is a tough onspeeder who was clearly headed and fought back to beat Silver Minx at Northam. Lomfath was backed as if unbeatable last start at York and duly saluted.
