Brother Patrick could cap off a very nice day at the office for Lucy and Justin Warwick, formerly with Gai Waterhouse the Anabaa gelding bred at Widden Stud in NSW has been ultra consistent throughout his career and probably deserved to snatch a victory earlier this campaign. Has been all over the shop in terms of distance but I think 7 furlongs is perfect. 1400m looks to be his go and I think he has been racing against far superior opposition to most of these. Mad Brad may have won 3 in a row and is the deserving favourite but I feel as though 1 length fourth to Tower of Lonhro, 0.5 length second to Trade Down and even 3.5 lengths behind Dream Lifter could prove to be superior form lines. At the $15 I'm happy to have a little bit eachway weighted towards the places side. Mad Brad, obvious danger, won last start with ease and was nominated originally for the Farnley Stakes but Peter Hall can't ride that low in the weights. Ruling Force will improve with a firmer track, proven on a good3 and seems to struggle with any hint of rain. Much like Fiddler's Elbow if it rains expect him to drift like a Japanese Toyota.
