R7. Mitavite Horse Rail Handicap - 1 January 1970
|
Top end Class
Straight down the racebook for mine, 1 - 2 - 3. True Storm has been kicking down the door all preparation and a return to Belmont Park looks the answer. 7 top 3 finishes from 11 starts at the track after the Casey claim carries 58.5 and should get a very soft run from barrier 1. I see Our Pu Bear finiding the fence, rolling along and allowing True Storm to get up behind her and off the fence. Our Pu Bear has to contend with a massive weight impost relative to recent runs but most of these are pretty weak. Peters' horses grow a leg for Adam Durrant and no surprise to see Arcadia Rose bounce back to her very best after a lean 560 days.

Yep, and I can understand the right for people to say "prepare to lose" if you go about it in this sort of way. I did a few hours of form on Thursday evening and came up with a tip per race, of that only got one winner (True Storm) of which I didn't back ...

After looking at the results from the weekend there will be a few things that I wont be doing ever again. One of them is backing horses 24 hrs before the jump, another involves the Miller camp, another is betting on 2yo races. I am still shaking my head over t...

Reading the stewards report from race 2 just frustrates the hell out of me. Surely as a collective; with all their experience, the stable are not that dumb (my humble opinion only of course). I'm still trying to friggin work out who they thought would supply a...
