Can He Make the Railway?
I don't think there is any doubt that Hazzabeel has been targetted at the Peters' Stakes for number of weeks and it would be a perfect result for Danny Morton who has the racing Gods on his Side after a favourable decision by the Stewards midweek. If Hazzabeel is to make the Railway Stakes he must win this race. Personally I've never been a huge fan of the gelding and think he is more over-rated than Usman Khawaja, but much like Usman can prove me wrong here. Battle Hero deserves a crack at this grade and I think the drop back to a mile will suit him down to the ground. Should settle perfectly forwards of midfield for Pike and go mighty close. Ask Me Nicely can sprint well fresh and could bob up at a big place price in a small field.

Still in at 53kgs though - will they let him get away with robbery like he did on Saturday?Not a lot of ES raiders to make it a genuine run race - a standard Perth sit and sprint maybe :-?
