Another winner for Allen Mac
The Allen McNamara stable is enjoying a fantastic season to date and in-form mare (1) SCAMPIN has been flying the flag with three wins at her past four outings. Starting to get up in the weights now but she looks to have a significant edge on her rivals here, and this is not as strong as the line-up she accounted for at Albany 8/02 last start. (8) LADY LADETTE looks well in here 1kg off the minimum and comes out of a reasonably strong Bunbury 12/02 assignment. Both runs back from a spell have been solid. (2) DRUMFIRE showed what he is capable of when happy and healthy at Mt Barker 18/02, whipping his maiden rivals by almost three lengths. He is a nice, strong individual and is sure to make his presence felt, and (5) BILLESTRINI is a competitive fellow and the blinkers have been added to give him an edge.
