A few chances in this race, in fact a couple here are overdue for a win but I keep coming back to the class runner in the race in Detection, he did blow them away at the midweeks not long ago by a big space in the role of front runner and he may well do the same here. He has won four times at the distance and may do so again today. Once again we have a fancy having to overcome a tricky draw but you would imagine Detections early speed may come to the fore here and he can cross them early. Point to the Sky looks the main danger here, he has been racing consistently of late and does have a good draw to take up a nice spot in running. Shaytarna for the Simon Miller stable won well here on Sep 10, steps up a little in class but has shown promise and must have prospects in this race today. Lost Heritage may have lost punters this time in, but his last start was an improvement and he may be coming somewhat back to his best form from earlier in the year. Fonzarelli is another going consistently without winning, always a good place chance and one for first four punters to insert into their wagers.
